To be fair, the Israelis has better jetfighters and better training which made a big difference. However, it was a different story when the Israelis fought against Jordanians and their Hawker Hunters. As one Israeli pilot stated later after that confrontation, "It was like practicing against our own pilots". The Jordanians has been trained by the British in BFM.
True, there was a huge gap between Israel and Syria a that time. Regarding Jordanian (and Iraqi) Hunters, this is scheduled to be covered on the channel in the future.

The first MiGs that appear are MiG-23s. But after they are shot down, a couple of MiG-21 sneak up on the Israelis and launch their missiles. But you are quite polite. Another guy jumped to the same conclusion and he told me to f*** myself 😂😂😂
15:12 I love the Israeli air combat doctrine which calls for the use of close-in dogfighting using guns and fighter pilots that take down enemy planes with guns alone are looked up as heroes. From a combat perspective, if a pilot can use a gun perfectly, he can handle any missile out there. Also, missiles can always miss the target as they rely more on technology than unguided projectiles like bullets that purely rely on physics. Better physics than electronics because the laws of physics do not change unlike electronics which are based on man's understanding of electricity and chemistry. Physics will never fail to do its job so long as we are in the right position with respect to the target whether we understand Physics or not unlike our understanding of an artificial science like electronics.

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, I believe the Syrians lost over 80 fighters, to Israel losing ZERO fighters during the Bakaa Valley war. Kill with guns is the best way to take out an enemy, that was a good move by the MIG-21's coming in low at tree top level hugging the earth, but the low level of training and possibly the firing of their IR missiles out of range set them up for failure.
Well, this was an attempt to make the title a little more 'attractive'. If you name your videos 'scientifically' people just don't watch them. But it's not too far off, with better missiles they could have shot down or damaged them. This actually happened on another occasion with Israeli F-15 limping back on one engine.
