That was a very well shot video lad. Enjoyed that from start to finish. A rally with great cars, scenery, people and experiences. Also Shout-out Porsche GB Press Team on the GTS hook-up. Hoping that Porsche continues to work with TGE TV on more great content in the future. We want to see it.
After waiting nearly 3 decades (!) to own a Porsche, I have now had my dream 991.2 for a couple of years and been a member of the GB club for less than a year. I haven’t got involved in mtgs and trips with the club to date but your video and comments on the trip and how friendly members are inspires me to do so; I now will! Thank you!
That was 35 minutes of Porsche loveliness! Great content, epic locations, fantastic cars and beautiful scenery. What a road trip! Porsche Club GB have two new members off the back of this content. Keep up the good work.🇬🇧
I belong to the Porsche Club of America and what you said about the family vibes and friendly nature of everyone is 100% spot on. In fact, the slogan of the club is "It's not about the cars, it's about the people". Met some of my favorite people while doing club events!
Man, living the dream! Nice one for getting as much as you did on camera, I would have been so distracted! Looks like a milestone trip in both your lives, levelling up, very cool 👊🏼
Great video Tom! I was on the Timmelsjoch two weeks ago with my 997 Carrera 4S. I love that road, especially combined with the Jaufenpass and the Penserjoch.
Loved this video Tom, didn't seem like 30 minutes because it was just awesome to watch 👏👏👏. Glad Ianthe enjoyed the trip too, enjoyed seeing the amazing places you visited 🤜🤛
Really great video, Tom & Ianthe. Thanks! Albeit as a usual tourist rather than dinner, I went to the Porsche museum for the first time earlier this year. Amazing place and so beautifully laid out. As for the Riva boat, I believe it used two 4.0 litre Bizzarini V12s in the same state of tune as the 400 GT (325hp each). The Miura was quite the more powerful beast.
Tom just watched your video fantastic Love the views new and old Porsches look like you and your special lady had a great time thanks for bringing me along
Wow Tom,well the roads look very familiar from our bike trips to Europe, beautiful to see a line of porches ready to take on the roads. I had to smile when your better half said “I’m not a Yob” lol 😂 and also iantherose face when you were on the cliff edge, just and brilliant video Tom and glad you both had fun 👍
Good Evening TGE and Ianthe I have just finished watching this absolute masterpiece of a video all the way through thank you for sharing this looks absolutely breathtaking, some of the places you have been too the GTS in PTS colour absolutely fabulous very interesting to learn about Riva boats and the engines in mr Ferruccio Lamborghini was the same engine that is in the Lamborghini miura the V12. I have to say I think one of the best videos to date I thoroughly thoroughly loved it. Thank you so much TGE. Tristan
Really enjoyed the video. I’ve been to a few of those places , but you’ve just extended my bucket list …. Glad to see you and Ianthe agree the Porsche community is a like a family . 99% of those I’ve met are great people .
Great video Tom & Lanthe, loving the PTS L22R Muntgruen GTS and my all time fav Porsche at 19:34 in, the ‘964’ Carrera 3.8RS Speed Yellow - Walter Röhrl signed car 🤜🤛
Really enjoyed this style of video, well done! Also appreciate the quality of the edits and montages inbetween. Makes for a good time watching. Would be fun to have more roadtrips with you 2 together.
@@TGE It shows. Kinda Harry's Garage vibes from when he does roadtrips, good stuff. Really digging the direction you took a while back. I'm sure there is a lot more audience for this, takes some time before they know where to find it.
TOM! What a incredible video, I absolutely loved this. It was like a mini film. I loved seeing all the cars and the different variants all being enjoyed and thrashed on some amazing roads. I can see why you and ianthe had the trio of a lifetime and you seemed to go to places no one usually goes to,some beautiful countries and thank you for sharing!
Lovely video. I love your energy mate! Thanks for sharing, I have a new 911S 992. I have wanted a 911 for 30 years. I pulled the trigger at last… had to wait 18 months for mine. I like the look of the Porsche club. Looks like loads of fun and at £85 what is there to lose. Looks like great value and loads of opportunities to take advantage of some amazing European roads. I will be joining!
@@TGEyes sounds good mate! I like the fact that it’s not pretentious at all. Sometimes these types of things can be. I know as I am a member of a Rolex club. Lots of snobs that I don’t care for.i also love that drive you were on. I would love to do that. Those roads look absolutely amazing to drive on. I really would love to stretch my 992 out and really enjoy the car. I would love to drive on the German Autobahns too. That’s something that I really want to experience!😳😀😂. Can I ask you a few questions? You seem really knowledgeable about Porsche. I know you have said you have owned four Porsches! Do you know if the spoiler deploys on normal mode? and if so at what speeds does it deploy. I have tried to look at the back when driving but I really don’t want to die lol. I looked through the manual but doesn’t give me what I would consider a clear answer. I typically drive in sports mode so it automatically deploys at certain speeds with the suspension in sports mode too. I feel like this is the best mode for me (minus the fact that it seems to guzzle petrol but who cares lol! I just love this setup so I can swallow the petrol costs). I really think this set up is how Porsche intend the car to be driven. Also, I can see a superficial spot on my paintwork but only when I look at it at certain angles and where the light hits it., it looks like a scuff. Given this is a brand new car i just can’t let it go and want everything to be perfect ☺️. Would you think that getting it fixed say with Chips Away to buff (they do body work of all kinds in case you are not familiar with them) it out? Or would you suggest to just leave it? It’s just doing my head in. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very helpful.
G’day I just watched your latest video trip on the Porsche 60 anniversary the car you drive yes it’s a very lovely Portia if I had the money I’ll have to have a fun myself and also long to a portia Club so excellent that you’ve joined the Porsche club look forward to seeing more video content cheers
Did look amazing wish all car clubs did this type of stuff. I know they do smaller things, but this looked brilliant. Was just missing Crisps but doubt he would have enjoyed the long drive :).
enjoyed that Tom....despite not being the biggest Porsche fan. I do like the air cooled models though. Great itinerary several passes that I have driven over the years - great fun. Bruges is so close to the UK, and everyone seeing it for the first time is blown away. Great weekend trip. I am always amazed at the state you can turn a cars interior into in such a short time.....complete ferrets cage! I am amazed that you arent fat with all that grazing and snacking 😉
Nice one thanks. Sadly I feel the same as Ianthe on the sheer drop thing so that's one drive I won't be tackling! Nice to at least get the insight from your video instead.
Good video. Last month my partner and I also did the Timmelsjoch from Austria into Italy, so it was nice to see some familiar bits of the route in your video. After dropping down into Merano Italy we too drove up the Stelvio Pass, but then took the Umbrail Pass down the other side and along the amazing sweeping Offenbach pass and ended the day in St Moritz. Three countries in one day - Awesome drive 🇦🇹🇮🇹🇨🇭
I have done that Porsche experience day at Silverstone hosted by your mate Vicky Butler Henderson, great fun. As to your question PDK or manual I think in your case I would go manual for your very limited mileage but PDK is fabulous. I have had both
I kinda think u might look back at the in car shots in 10 years when u guys are married with a smirk. GTS was a mega choice, you are correct about the lack of yobs in the Porsche club, that certainly goes for the Porsche experience over here. UK plates are such an eyesore, that beautiful mint green would be so much nicer on something less "clashy".
Tom after searching for many months I have just bought A 991.2 pdk Gt3 very low miles joined the club mainly for the insurance, let's hope to meet on a trip🏁🏁great vid

Great job on filming this one! Thank you for more amazing content
Realised I’ve messed the sound up at the start of the video, & got my Instagram name wrong. It’s now @TGE
Yes, Ferruccio Lamborghini’s Riva had two Miura V12 engines, adapted for sea purposes. Lovely road trip to follow. Thanks ! 👍🌞

Brilliant video TGE. I would love to be involved in something like this, such a great trip!!
Great video. It was a great trip and amazing for the Porsche Club GB to arrange.
Living the dream, GTS Targa is the pinnacle of the 911 in my opinion, but the convertible looks cool.
She's cool mate excellent video as usual
The size of that jumper is ridiculous 😂 very good video Mr TGE
Think it’s a Yeezy x Gap hoodie. Insanely oversized but very comfortable

It’s fab club to be a member of, I’ve been a member of Porsche GB for 8 years and the meets are always good and I normally go to the region 16
Such a cool video! But you should buy a hoodie that fits you in the frost clip 😂
Great vid Tom,shee150 would have got 7 videos out of that 😀
The Porsche’s are great but for me it was the brief glimpse of the SM made this video for me🎉
Amazing video tom your UA-cam videos are the best can't wait for the next one buddy
Awesome video! What a trip! 992 GTS looks amazing in that PTS mint green too.
Amazing pictures from a beautiful trip 🤩
Mint Green , Ruby stone are my favorites.
You should involve Ianthe more in the video’s! So fun to have you 2 together in the longer style video’s. Keep up the great content!
Considering you don’t like road trips , that was brilliant . I enjoyed every second of it . Looks like you did as well.
I do like roadtrips! Especially with the gf. Just not the usual UA-camr type stuff

Did you consciously buy a hoodie that big or was that a mix up in shipping?
I did it on purpose. It’s my normal size but the fit is just like that. It’s appalling
