Linde playing over one of his new Daniel Lioneye songs 'Aetherside' from the new upcoming third album. Check out my channel for HIM/Daniel Lioneye covers!
I’ve had this thought too! Not just because of his tone or riff here, but he reminded me of Jerry in the “right here in my arms” music video. Would be an insane project for sure
amazing music!! and thats all i care about, but it is weird seeing him looking older and bigger, but who gives a fuck, just keeep pumping out great music!!
It's pretty much the only 'main' pedal from his rig i'm missing. I've been using a tube screamer as a clean boost, but I've been considering getting the Line Driver instead. Where do you place it in your chain? I understand with his rig he runs multiple heads with seperate signal paths for certain effects, but if using just one chain into the amp, do you use it before dirt or after? Logically I'd think it goes Wah>Octaver>Boost>Fuzz, but because of the buffer built into it I don't know if having it even before the wah might be best? Or perhaps after the fuzz? Hmm...
+Project Lazer i put my octaver and distortion last....wah then boost then clean pedals like chorus and phaser...distortion and Octave last...I don't really use my octafuzz or pharaoh fuzz...my metalcore pedal sounds fuzzy enough like when I play "All lips go blue"...so yeah I use my boost for pretty much everything it's always on...
+Melodic DarkLord093 wah first then boost then whatever you like I guess...I use a normal wah but I throw in the bass wah every now and then...awesome pedal to use for leads.
Is there a purpose in taking off a pickup cover/having a coverless pickup? Isn't the only difference shielding from hum/noise? He only took one from bridge pickup, so i guess cover can take some treble or volume off, but i don't think it would make any noticeable difference. I ordered some covers for my SG special, but only for the looks, i'm used to that look on a SG.
There's a very small variance on tone with the covers on/off, but that isn't simply the stock bridge pickup with the cover removed. That's an entirely separate pickup, which doesn't happen to have a cover on it (A Gibson 500t from what I recall Kimmo telling me, he used to use a SD pickup). I assume when it was installed he just never bothered to put a pickup cover on it?
I've read he uses a Seymour Duncan Custom SH-5. There is a video where he says its a SD but doesnt say which one. The bridge may actually be a 500T... id love to know for sure.
Linde is a great player, his tone is always spot on too
Imagine a project with Linde and Jerry Cantrell 🔥🔥🔥
