I came to check the comments for early signs of Ai usage or otherwise mediocrity, and man I'm glad I did. Saved me having to even try listening to this.
OMG, we feel a need to instill DEI in alien species now do we? I had such high hopes for this one, great image anyway. Sadly, very disappointed, I got to 15 min before giving up.
I love how they constantly refer to surgical strikes (ala operation Praying Mantis) and humanitarian aid (ala Berlin Airlift) and then claim that "tolerate" people are not only capable of such things, they lead everything. When in fact they oppose them. In fact they are the ones who created the problems in the first place (I remember the demonstrations of those who thought Iran's navy was wrongly attacked and the Berlin Airlift was to provoke the Russians. And those same people falsely claimed that president Ronald Reagan was trying to force a war with the Soviet Union). This piece is nothing but a political rant to trick you into thinking that people will change to their way of thinking. I would remind you of the Berlin Airlift leading to the Berlin Wall. Because that system never works it never has and it never will. It only leads to more suffering and one group ruling another.
Sorry, but no. Started ok, but then took a turn to the left field. While the attack on Celestia was a good starting point, it was implied that this was the first time humans had contact with an alien race. Then it started to be disjointed, saying that humans bided their time to exact revenge, implying that humans were already part of a galactic community. After that, the attack on a diplomatic vessel and an alleged massacre on the aliens of the same species that were already on Earth. To, suddenly, veer off that the attack was not of revenge but justice. What the heck?!
For a while I was hoping this story was going to be a very clever homage to the movie Starship Troopers, where the humans are in reality an evil fascist power with the story told from the POV of a true believer raised in that nation who has bought into the propaganda. Because in the first half of the story the human government is an undeniably evil regime not worthy of praise or admiration, and I was hoping this was by design to give the reader a test to parse the propaganda to see the real story. Sadly, in the second half of the story its clear the author earnestly intended for the humans to be the good guys. So its just a really bad story.
Not sending a shuttle while standing off during a rescue is only a sign of stupidity.
Benevolent turn? We are predators, we take or we die
If only most real human leaders were like this.
Terra’s blazing Suns? Plural? I thought earth only had one sun…
Got halfway through and had to cut it off.
Why?
Because this was so bad. There were so many, many bad tropes that I just couldn't handle them.

You're obviously above explaining yourself
Thank you
3000 quatloo's the humans cannot be contained!

Cringe
This is tooooo crappppy. Just a loop of booring insanity from hell
At least try to write a story. Not a patriotic narrative
I didn't like the story. The human sound really really gay here.
Not gay, but nice.
