This movie is great and it is way better than say the Pacific Rim movies, Godzilla has always been part of my childhood along with the Dinosaurs from Jurassic Park/World series because I loved Nature and Prehistoric Life on Earth.

For me, it doesn't matter if the humans are 1-dimensional or not; I came for the monsters. Problem with 2014 Godzilla? There were practically NO monsters, and fights cut away every 2 minutes and critics-reviewers were applauding them for it; I almost screamed OH COME ON when the gate doors shut as Godzilla and Muto started fighting again, so pissed off. By the time the 'final battle' came round, I just couldn't be bothered to give a damn, I was done, I was spent, my patience had run out. Glad to hear that won't be the case for this film.

I really don't like critics for example they said bad things about the movie called "Glass", but when I watched it, it was darn good.

I just saw this movie. I was disappointed. Because what the movie sucks!
Because it was only 2hrs long,i didn't want it to end! Good lord what an epic movie! Best movie of 2019 so far for me. Geez. The monster fights,the musical score,the vfx,the emotional depth of this movie is way off the charts.

Speaking for myself, it would be a disingenuous viewpoint to claim I see everyone as equal and then only watch content from one race and sex.

Just so you know although I love the other 2 some are put off by the human characters and lack of Godzilla in 2014. King of the monsters has none of those issues so don’t let it put you off. I did personally enjoy all 3 though :)!

Got opening tickets for the biggest and loudest theater within 50 miles of where I live. I'm VERY excited! Been a big fan of these movies since my dad introduced me to them like 30 years ago. The when you mentioned original theme I got goosebumps. I can't wait to hear that blasting in the theater as these monsters battle it out on a Hollywood budget.

love GODZILLA , Kong , rodan , Ghidorah and mothra movies. They bring me hope, especially GODZILLA AND KONG. THEY ARE BOTH REAL HREOS. THEY NEVER GIVE UP. And Mothra , the poor thing do receives worse treatment of them all. Almost everytime there is a huge battle Mothra gets toast or killed off. Mothra deserves at least three standalone movies.

This is all I wanted to hear! As a huge Godzilla fan I'm so glad they give Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah the screen time they rightfully deserve! After all they're the real main stars in this film. You make me so excited for this film!
I’m so excited about this one that I’m willing to come on out the pocket and see the IMAX treatment. The trailers have been tapping into the kid in me as I remember all too well watching the old school Godzilla and monster battle back in the day when we used to have “Monster Week on the 4:30 Movie”. when I was younger, the fights were also what I wanted to see. Human characters are never interesting much in the original. If I see some monster action, then I'm in. Plus come on critics, the theme song came back! Only a true Godzilla fan would appreciate that

Just came back from seeing the film on Imax. I am never looking at Rotten Tomatoes again. This movie was EPIC, GIGANTIC and SICKENING. Need to see it at least 2 more times to take in all of the action and cinematography. Your review is spot on. Our beloved monsters are beautiful. And awe inspiring.
This is one of the best movie reviews I've watched. She covered pretty much everything. And her excitement after viewing the movie should put to ease most sceptics. Great job!

Just found your channel. Loved your straight up review! As a longtime Goji fan, I really liked the 2014. Saw it 4 times in multiple formats. Bought the digital and blu ray. Loved Shin Gojira! I've been re-watching all the old TOHO films (again). I've seen the new film 5 times since its release on 5/30. Love it more with every consecutive viewing! There are layers to this film we didn't get with 2014! The Music! The Roars! The battles! The lore! Totally fine with the human story this time. I look forward to seeing what was lost on the home viewing versions. They really built things up at the end! So excited for the next chapter of the MONSTERVERSE!
This move is beautiful, nostalgic, brought out happy childhood memories. I grew up with Godzilla, I consider him my big brother, and when each theme played I had to hold back the tears...this is the best movie I've seen to date, and I watched Endgame

When I go to see a Godzilla movie I expect a little girl human talking to twin fairies who give major exposition.
So this film is going to be a 10/10 for me w/o even watching it.
My 4 special moments was 1. Seeing the derelict city of Atlantis where Godzilla lives and finding out how Godzilla gets around the globe so fast. 2. Mothra making Rodan go sit his rampaging ass down. 3. Finding out that there are many other Titans. 4. The monsters all acknowledging he is the King.

Best Review I have seen. I saw this movie yesterday and loved it!!!! I grew up with these movies in the 70's/80's, turn your brain off and have fun!!!! Some of these reviews I have seen are ridiculous it's a monster movie. Enjoy It!!

Love your review about everything on the movie , your definitely on point it's called Godzilla for a reason more about him than humans alot of the other reviews basically don't know much about the history of Godzilla or even appreciate how far the franchise has come special efx wise and back then it def was more about Godzilla you'll get some glimpses of people but you'll still see Godzilla fighting in the background while people are running trying to get away , I've been a fan of the Godzilla films since I was a kid when my dad showed me the black and white version first films then to color and I would get hyped once Godzilla does his roar and that theme song comes on and ever since then I seen them all from the rubber suits of Godzilla to now with the cgi ........much props to you keep doin what you do your review is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
