I ran my first game of Brancalonia last Friday. What a blast! We honestly laughed to tears. Players loved to play these sketchy anti-heroes. I can't wait to run another scenario in this setting, it's just too good.
These books sound absolutely delightful. I can't afford them right now, but they're definitely going on my wishlist. Great to see more RPG publishers from Europe too!
There's an old comedic Italian movie called L'Armata Brancaleone (Brancaleone's Army). That surely was the basis and Inspiration for this game. A must watch, if you are considering playing this scenario.
yes, it is. Brancaleone's Army and the spaghetti western movies are the most important Brancalonia references. The Princess Bride and Lady Hawke are other main inspirations.
I haven't seen that but I've watched I Picari which was made by the same director because I loved picaresque novels. Great humour and I love the comedy style.
Brancalonia looks stunning and sounds interesting. I don’t want to give Hasbro my money for their version of the D&D rules though. Shame. If this game had an original ruleset I’d be all over it.
@@Thegaminggang hi Jeff, yes I guess thanks… but I don’t want anything to do with them (Hasbro). Still, Brancalonia looks good. Thanks for the reviews and news 👍

Brancalonia is the focus of a brand new Bundle of Holding so you can grab the books in PDF rather cheap! ~ Jeff
I got the Bundle of Holding and am so glad I did!!!

What a cool, different setting!
Even though I really don't like D&D, this is very tempting. Either for DCC or some Basic Role-Playing. Looks like a ton of fun & I love that art.
I like the lore in it..I will look into it.

You could always download the free 5E SRD. ~ Jeff
