I think the grandpa defense system could work in a way where if a victim decides to rush grandpa and stab him he will fight back but when they sneak up on him he will not be able to defend himself. Also they should remove the cutscene of leatherfaces kill at the start for everyone else besides leatherface because hitchhiker, hands, etc need time to setup while victims will just get a head start.
The devs don't know what they're doing. They wanted to "buff" Grandpa but what they did was wind up buffing the Rush meta. The devs aren't clowns, they are the whole circus.

Honestly the first few months of TCM was the best state the game was in, yes it was hard for family because victims would rush and stab whoever but look where we are now same situation only this time we can’t defend ourselves as much as we’re able to do before. The devs don’t test or play their game they just contract coders to work for a couple months and release whatever they created.
Haha "1 Step forward and 2 steps back", definitely has been in some sense. you know I feel the same way. In the early months of TCM it was definitely fun game.
I haven’t played the game since it came out, but when I played, I felt like it shouldn’t have taken so much blood to level them up felt useless also survivors should have a limit on how many items they can keep taking infinite bone shards is stupid
very interesting points on this, with the buff now when i do play victims im more inclined to go ahead and stab him as soon as hes level 1, but when i play family me and my friends all do blood rush while locking down the exits and running patrol routes and not chasing victims very often, what i would recommend they do to try and fix this is to add a limit to how many times grandpa can be stabbed within a time period, with each new level though the timer will automatically reset to give the victims a chance to stop it or just waiting for the right moment, and to fix the rush meta a good one to have is to just have bubba play the cutscene and not the entire family
Its been in a slump, they are trying to put some life into it with the content pass but the game needs more of an incentive that doesnt involve money. For Example: Raising the profile levels.

It is definitely a struggle for them to make grandpa more of an objective in the game.

No Problem. Its not a bad game just some areas need more focus. I think they are focusing on the wrong things.

Got ya. The bone shards have a limit now on how many times they can use a pile but I cant remember what that number is.

I like the options you give in order to fix the rush meta and grandpa. I think it would definitely change some things
Every video ive seen of this game makes it seems family is miserable to play 😭
Family have some hard times 😄. When victims get out 3 mins into the game its defeating.
I’m not going to lie but this game is on life support. the hype was great but now it just makes me want to play Leatherface and dead by daylight.
