Kobe Beef Sushi & Wagyu Steak Street Food Festival in Tokyo

- The Tokyo Wagyu Show is on again this year and there are loads of stands selling regional wagyu dishes at reasonable street food prices but - this will be the most expensive street food ever! Still, it’s a lot less than a restaurant.
What did we eat?
1) Kobe Wagyu Sushi $18 /1900 yen / 5 pieces
2) Akita Wagyu Dog $7 / 800 yen
3) Sirloin Wagyu Steak Cubes $9 / 1000 yen / 100g
4) Okinawa Wagyu Hamburg $16 / 1800 yen
5) Miyazaki Wagyu Garlic Steak $18 / 1800 yen
We spent a total of 7000 yen ($65) on 5 dishes - not quite $100 but I'll go back for more later :)
It may be the priciest street food in the world, but it's a great way to try so many dishes in one spot.
The Tokyo Wagyu Show is on from Sept 14, 2018 to Sept 17, 2018.

Only the Garlic Steak. All the others and I know it's " Wagyu " just a little to raw for my taste. I just have to remember to stay away from restaurants that sell Wagyu or that part of the menu that has it. To bad for the rain.
That akita wagyu..is that a dog meat??
No, it's beef. Akita Wagyu comes from Akita Prefecture in Japan.

They all look delicious! ☺️ BUT, you should consider trying Kobe meat at this restaurant call - 511 in Akasaka. It’s expensive but it was exquisitely delicious it literally melted inside your mouth. (Worth the $180 or so for 2 ppl). Yet again, worth it. I believe it will be a nice treat for you and Kanae. 👍🏻✨😎
I've eaten wagyu at a restaurant where they brought out a hot himalayan salt mini slab to cook it on...

Goya seems to be bittergourd. Yeah, they stir fry it with eggs here too, or batter it and deep fry it (a staple at South Indian restaurants). What's the name of the dish again? I couldn't catch it, and it doesn't sound Japanese (Korean maybe??). "Campur" ("champur") would be Malay for "mix" - when you go to a restaurant and eat "nasi campur" it's a plate of rice with various dishes and curries on top (which you choose out of a selection at the counter).

You don’t know how to eat good wagyu 😂 it’s a different kind of beef. I mentioned this in half a dozen videos already and stand by it because I’ve eaten a lot of the worlds best steaks. No.1 is Argentina beef! Have never had anything better than their usual grass fed beef!!!! Amazing. You can eat that med rare or medium or anyway you like.
