I may be a little late for suggestions.. Trash can, trash bags, laundry basket, laundry detergent. Air freshener for bathroom, can & bottle opener, strainer, pot for pasta, pizza cutter, pizza pan, Tupperware, sharp knives, measuring cups & spoons, paper towels, fan, hangers, rugs, broom, mop, plunger, light bulbs, lotion, nail clippers, tweezers, super glue, extension cord, power strip, organizers, storage containers, step ladder
Basic first aid kit, some OTC meds. Like to store a couple bottles of Gatorade and a few cans of chicken noodle soup. Nice to have on hand if you don’t feel well. Also a pair of scissors and a few basic tools might be helpful.
Basement looks great! Hope the renovation/ waterproofing goes smoothly. Good luck to your son! Looks like you got him nicely set with the basics. The only other things I can think of are maybe some batteries for his remotes and such and just your basic old fashioned flashlight. If for some reason his power should go out because of a thunderstorm or something for a little bit then he doesn’t have to use his phone battery to use the flashlight on it. Although I may be showing my age on that one. 😂 Maybe a toilet brush too. That’s something that tends to get forgotten about at first until you need it and don’t have it. I think though that your items are very thoughtful. Hang in there there and safe travels when he moves!
Yes I have to make time, I just finished up 8 jars of strawberry jam after picking 14 pounds! And we froze a bunch plus of course strawberry shortcake 😊
I dont know if you should waste time painting floor. another y tuber did hers with paint for cement. a few months later, had basement flood. paint was ruined. and they had prepped it according to directions. i know they make snap together non skid floor tiles for cement floors, up to you. good luck.
Thanks for the heads up. We did both bedrooms with cement paint. If there's heavy furniture on it it does come off, but I plan on putting an area rug down, it's gonna make it a little better for a while anyway 😊
Anxious and overwhelmed with all the STUFF that you were able to afford/buy - instead of feeling grateful and just dealing with what you created. Put your big girl pants on. If this gives you anxiety, what are you like in a true emergency?
Wow someone's feisty today 😊 IF you listened, I didn't say I was overwhelmed with the "stuff" necessarily just the mess. We've had a series of disasters down there over the last few months so it's gotten to be a mess again. I've said it many times in my videos I like to be prepared so I do store a lot. I'm actually amazing in emergency situations, thanks for asking. Appreciate you watching, hope you feel better soon❤️
Wow, inspired by your productivity and clean setup! Makes me want to get organized too. Keep it going! 😍🥰
Thank you!

Those are all amazing suggestions, thank you! We are driving to see him soon and will be heading to the stores to get him all settled. Can't wait!
@@homesteadingdreams8046 - I hope you have a safe trip and a wonderful visit. 💜
Thank you. Just landed safely at the hotel. It was about 7 and 1/2 hour drive but pretty smooth. Can't wait to see him tomorrow!!

Yes thank you! /Welll probably try to hit up the Walmart close by after we go up to visit him and stock up on some food items
You did a great job!
This is so fun and satisfying to watch!!!!
Thank you❤️
It's SO great to be able to help your Son by giving him some of your Stockpile!!!!
Yes, it feels really good! Then we'll go to Walmart and pick up some more stuff there, like the toilet brush. Lol
@@homesteadingdreams8046 LOL. You're a great Mama.

Great ideas! We are going a week after his move in date, maybe we'll run to Walmart and pick some more stuff up together😊
pot holder, cookie sheet, spatula, tongs, batteries, 6 in 1 screwdriver, hammer, small pack of nails, Flashlight
Amazing list, it's all getting added❤️
💖💖💖
Sheets? Any spare vacuums?
He ordered a new bed so we'll just probably pick up a new set. No spare vacuums, I didn't think of that?!
@@homesteadingdreams8046 Well, you say he'll have some cash?
Yes he will😊
Do you have the time for canning?
Yes I have to make time, I just finished up 8 jars of strawberry jam after picking 14 pounds! And we froze a bunch plus of course strawberry shortcake 😊
@@homesteadingdreams8046 Wow!
What is the shelf life on some of the Pastas?
Pasta will last many years, but we go through those quickly anyways. 2 boxes per dinner..
