New York City Cruise Port Guide: Manhattan Cruise Terminal Parking

- Опубліковано 26 лис 2023
- The Manhattan Cruise Terminal is located in the heart of New York City, near Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, and many other famous landmarks. We’ve sailed out of the terminal several times, including a cruise aboard the Carnival Venezia in August 2023. In this video, we’ll provide an overview of our experience driving to and parking at the terminal for our cruise.

Great video - Very Informative! A Note about the George Washington Bridge and Rt 9A - For The Henry Hudson Parkway - One can take either level of the GWB to get on the Henry Hudson - But the upper deck exits to the right, while the lower level of the GW bridge exits to the left. Trying to cross 3 lanes of traffic because you didn't remember "Lower Level Left" will be a challenge. plan ahead. Also in regard to Parking cost, It's about $45 a day. We're paying $315 for a weeklong cruise in September 2024. We've already booked parking at the terminal. Public garage Parking in Midtown near the cruise terminals is about $60 a day.
Thank you for all the great information 👌🏻
Have enjoyed all of you Venezia related videos so far and am looking forward to any future ones you may have. thanks
Great video!!!! 🥰
You are better than Google maps.
Do you have the name of parking?
Nice video but I would like to know what time of day this was and was it a week day.
We did the drive on a Monday morning. We were crossing the bridge at around 8:30 am.
We cruise in May and it's the first time we reserved parking. Is there a designated area for the reserved parking?
There is not a designated area. All of the parking is located in the same general area at the terminal.
Do you still recommend parking at Port Imperial and taking a ferry across to the Manhattan cruise terminal?
Honestly, it really depends on the situation. The parking at Manhattan Cruise Terminal is certainly more expensive, but it's also significantly more convenient. If we were traveling with people who may have issues with the walk from the ferry (and back), we would lean toward parking at Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Alternatively, if everybody was okay with the walk and/or the cruise was long enough that the parking (plus ferry) cost difference was significant, then we would lean toward parking at Port Imperial. For this most recent cruise, we were traveling with GrandpaBean and it was only a five-day cruise, so it was worth the extra cost to park at Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
@@TheJellyBeans ok thank you! It's just my wife and I and we have no mobility issues and its an 8 day cruise so we should see significant savings! Thank you for helping people properly plan and enjoy our cruises!!
