in Chile people can be older than 30 and still living with their parents haha, so don't worry about stay with your family

In my country it's kinda the same tho, I mean if you are comfortable living with your parents and your parents are okay living with you, why you gonna leave your houseee, who cares about it
Same in Brazil
same in india
Yup, standard in brown cultures. Idk why the West sees living with your parents after 18 as shameful, especially when it's so hard for young people to buy a house and live alone nowadays.

here in the US it's like 'you gotta move out asap as soon as you get a job or graduate' but I'm like nooo I'm totally fine living with my parents and there's no shame in it. i don't like how our culture has the thinking that kids who live with their parents in their late 20's or so are bad or aren't productive.
Bianca Aletti yeah, ur totally right. i grew up in a desi household, and we are actually the opposite: in our culture, we often live with the fam til we get married etc.
I'm glad you talked about the "being at home thing." I'm currently a med student and decided to move back home (literally right before quarantine) for a plethora of reasons. I was in a phase of my life where it just made sense to move back in with my parents, and I'm blessed I had the chance to do so. Plus, being in quarantine with my parents has been awesome.
I can feel how you’re trying to enjoy your day despite the quarantine, even from ordinary things like at 3:43 :)
Hope we can all find some happiness and joy hidden throughout our day like you 🥰 especially since I’ve been kinda dispirited from online med school these days 😢
"we are upgrading from pajama pants to sweat pants" a mooooddd
Exactly! It’s okay to live with your family. I’m 21 and I still live at home. America has an individualistic mindset, but sometimes you need your community:)
What u said about living with ur family made me really soft... I'm 21 and still live with mine and I don't mind at all but sometimes this weird pressure creeps in but at the end of the day we should all do what makes us feel comfortable...
Not to mention that we should appreciate having a family.
Anyways love u Neen! Stay healthy and happy💜
Ahhh, this one touched home since I genuinely feel the same way, regarding family. This made me want to cook breakfast for the crazy, funny bunch I call my family. I love you, Nina. Stay safe. 🤍
It's crazy to me how Americans move out of home so early. I live in Australia, and atleast in my city, most ppl stay home during their degrees and even after graduating most people I know still live at home. I feel no pressure to move out and I am SOOO thankful for that haha
also as a fellow 22 yr old who still lives with family i totally agree with what you said. everyone is on a different path and there shouldn’t be any pressure to move out and be fully independent until you are ready :) love u!
Hope your quarantine is going well Nina. Hope you and everyone is staying healthy and safe 🥰
6:36 i feel her excitement 10/10 when she says the power is back hhhhh so heartwarming!
u always post when im in ur hoodie :o is this fate
There is something so calming about your videos. Especially during this hard time, I've been watching a lot of UA-cam videos as a means of escape from my own life. Sometimes I find that some UA-cam videos have a lot going on and I'm not really able to relax, but I just want to thank you for making such calming content. It's really bringing me a lot of joy and comfort ❤️
Don't worry Nina. My cousin lived at her mom's place even after she was married because she struggled to find a job around 2011 (recession). She ended up paying rent to her mom, helped out, and managed to save enough money to buy her own house. Everyone has their own life like you said and it's best to live at your own pace
i really appreciated your talk about family and home. it’s something i’ve been struggling with accepting... that i’m not behind on life because i’m still living with family. and it’s nice to know i’m not alone. thank you.
Nina is The only person I know that isn’t going insane during quarantine😂
Also stay safe and stay home love your videos💞💖
Totally love the fact that you talk about being mentally ready to move out and not just financially, I feel like everyone is only focused on moving out when they can afford it and not knowing how to look after themselves. Seen a lot of people struggle or just straight up move back home because of it. Just something a lot of other UA-camrs don’t think to talk about. 💕

Hey Nina!! So I just recently started watching your videos and I'm literally already hooked! You are one of the only things getting me through this quarantine! Love ya girl!! ❤️
bc of quarantine i’m back to my work-home-repeat cycle, and it gets kinda draining w/o being w friends but thank goodness neen is giving us that content 😌
nina I loved your little talk about living with your parents! I'm 21 and I (sadly) moved out when I was 18 (because I started uni in another city) and I regret that I moved out so quickly. Now I am 21 and I am back with my parents and I am so happy that I am able to be with them. But I also get those messages like "ohh, you are 21, you are in uni, LIvE yOuR LiFe, Go ParTy!" and I am so glad, that you adressed such things. :)
Nina we love you! Your thoughts and principles and manners are always the highlight of your videos. It's the reason why we keep coming back to you aside from the content.
It's pretty refreshing hearing from other youtubers like you talk about family confidently. Here in the Philippines, livibg with your parents is completely normal and if you're still there in your 20s you're pretty lucky. Family is important here and I'm glad to see people like you from a place where life is valued from being on your own.
3 seconds into the video: *blinded by beauty*
JoJo Lee she's gorgeous!
Super appreciate your comment on the negativity surrounding living with your parents in your 20s. I’m also living at home, graduated college almost a year ago now and honestly, I think it was the best choice for me. I am saving up and am planning on moving out when I’m ready, but I just don’t understand why I have to rush it. Like, I have a job, I’m independent. The negative stigma about living at home is simply prejudice and I’m a strong believer on doing what is best for you, not what society thinks. Love you Nina!! 💕
Being asian-american, your talk about going at your own pace really resonated with me cuz I too still live with my family 🌸 stay well~
I love how you talked about living with your family. I also have a good relationship with them and I don’t plan on moving out anytime soon . There’s no shame, instead it’s actually very sweet that we can take care of each other and live together, that’s what family is for anyway

Thank you for including the part about considering if you're mentally prepared enough to live on your own! I'm 21 and I don't hear that a lot in my social circle, it feels like everyone's just jumping to leave their parents house and over here like hello :") living alone is scary :"") so thank you! :D
8:30 yes actually, we measure our rice like that too here in philippines 😂
being kinda productive has been my ultimate catch line this quarantine so it's good to know i'm not alone!
when she played wave I smiled so much!🥺
This made me so happy. I'm 20 currently and i haven't gone to college yet due to financial issues but I'm applying this year for next year but I constantly get pressured to work instead of study as the major I'm taking is a long course which is 7 years. It's good to know that everyone is on their own path and that no one's situations are similar. Thank you Nina i hope you're safe and healthy

thank you for talking about your family and saying its okay to not stay alone even at 22. also trying to make the most of your time at home is exactly what im trying to do. im done complaining, i mean, nothing good can come out of that anyway. LOVW YOU NEEN

Omg thanks Nina for talking about how it’s normal to live with your parents! I’m planning on being a commuter too and it makes me feel weird, but I know I’ll be able to spend time with my family, take care of my mental health, and save money :)
“i’m gonna think about what to do i’m too internet dependent” next clip: IT’S BACKKKK 🤣 a whole ass mood, nina.
I really appreciate you talking openly about living with your family and saying there's nothing wrong about it. Sadly the society we live in indirectly forces us to take "our independence" for no valuable reasons. I am in the same situation, I am financially independent and live with my mom, she needs me for many reasons and I can't imagine living by myself and leaving her alone. Thank you for talking about it, you're a great person !!!
nina’s mom: big pieces, you know why?
nina: yes, yes, yes.
nina’s mom: no, you don’t know shit.
😂🤦🏻♀️
It's so nice listening you speaking about your family and common wellbeing. Im 32 and still living at home with my parents, and we all take care of my grandma since my mom is an only child :) It made me feel better about myself.
Massive love from Spain. Take care and stay safe!!

thank you for making this. i'm 24, i've lived with just my sister for over a year, but i'm moving back home with my parents and have felt a lot of shame and guilt in the whole situation. thank you for reminding me that it is not something i have to be ashamed of.
*6:25* WHEN U SAID THAT I REALLY FELT THAT IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS !!!
I REALLY NEED A REAL LIFE THO ..
Always so uplifting to hear other young people talking about their families! Thank you! :)
I’ve also realized every time spring day makes it on charts & breaks records & stuff just thank Nina bc that girl never stops streaming- anyway STREAM SPRING DAY COWARDS
It's so weird, I just always thought you lived alone. I totally understand what you're saying about family - because this is my last semester at uni, I don't have to attend any lectures, so I don't really get to meet my friends that often, because most of them returned home to chill with their families, while I stayed in the city to work. As my roommate moved out, I lived alone for a couple of months, and I felt super lonely and anxious all the time. Now I came back to quarantine with my family and I'm so much better when i'm surrounded by people I love. Thank you for such relaxing content Nina ♥
your statement about not living alone sounds like the scene in crazy rich asians, where the mom explains why she tings americans are too selfish and dont care about there family (of course your statement was not that harsh)
Nina always makes me really calm and have a productive vibe, LOVE YOU
me an asian: uses the finger method
nina: puts her whole palm
QUEEN.
also I totally feel you on the 'being an introvert but still feeling the need for other people in the house", especially with the lockdown. I've always been good at doing things alone but when my roommate leaves for a day or two I start feeling lonely :/ or maybe it's anxiety, who knows? but im glad to hear you're staying close to your loved ones.
glad to see i'm not the only one stuggling with ryujin shoulders move :D
we're all in the same trouble 😔
I think it's super great that you talk about the real stuff, especially the family and living situation. I also was a commuter in college and just trying to save up to get my own place and also contribute to my family. I love that I can relate to you! One of the only youtubers that I can actually really relate to and really enjoy watching:)

Yessssss!!! 🙌 Thank you for speaking out on such a rarely talked about subject! I am in my 20s too, and I still live at home with my parents. I moved out for college and when I traveled abroad, but same as you, I am not financially or mentally ready to move out entirely. You are so right! It's a wonderful thing to be blessed with a good relationship with our family, and we shouldn't give into societal pressure to move out before we're ready. I never hear people talk about this subject, so thank you for always being so brave and confident to march to your own beat! You are an amazing young lady 🌸🌻 I am forever inspired by you (& your optimistic personality 🌞) xx
stay safe guys
Thank you for talking about living with your family vs. living by yourself. I'm in a similar situation and I'm 27. There is so much pressure here in America to move out and live by yourself (or move out and get married) once you're in your twenties, and like there's something wrong with you if you're over 25 and still living at home. But you're so right that it's not just about being financially stable enough to live in your own place, it's also about being mentally and emotionally able to do it. You can be an independent, respectable, responsible person and still live with your family. That's what I'm learning. I'm blessed to have a good relationship with them and until moving out becomes necessary, I am happy to stay and continue to help.
no one:
me: OH MY GOD I use the same contact lenses as Nina
Thank you so much for talking about living with your family! I'm often looked down on because I still live with my family and it really gets to me sometimes. It's nice to hear someone taking about it without a sense of shame ❤
I don't have a bad relationship with my family but am I the only one that is getting annoyed with everything they do just bc I have no contact with anyone else? I'm slowly dying here
katyisbored1999 no your not I love my family but there too much.
I think the same. I love and adore my parents but when spending too much time (compared to how much time I used to spend with them), it’s a lot. And I also get a little aggravated/ annoyed with some things they do too. I guess it’s just spending tooooo much time together 24/7 which is different from before starting quarantine.
In my country it's normal to live with your family till you're married. I think it's nice to spend as much time with your parents and siblings. Also it saves so much money, it makes sense honestly
IVE LITERALLY NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY ONG
one of the things i really love about you and your channel is that i can relate with you in so many ways. with you sharing these things make me feel like im not alone, im not the odd one, and my situation is normal 🥺 thank you Nina

thank you so much for talking about living at home in your 20s. You're so right there's such a stigma when in truth a lot of people either want to or have to live at home now. I've never heard anybody talk about it on youtube before so thanks!! :)
the conversation about living with your family even after college made me so happy because that’s the kinda reassurance i needed, ive been struggling with feeling inferior or like a burden for continuing to live with my family (i’m not quite out of college but i’m currently in my first year and everyone i know has moved out of their homes to be on their own already TT)
i usually never write comments, but i've been feeling very down lately and just now my mom bought my favorite snack and i saw that you posted- i literally gasped and went NINA POSTED!!! it really made me happy so thank you so much😭😭😭
omg nina getting rly excited that the power was back is so cute🥺
thank you for talking about living with your family in your twenties! My situation is very similar, I live close enough to my uni to commute and I have a good relationship with my family so I don’t see the need to move out and I can save my money. Sometimes I feel kinda self conscious about that but reminders like yours show me that it’s okay! So thank you ♥️
