The answer is no. It does not matter. Most recreational players are wasting lots of money on expensive paddles that don’t do anything for them. I went through that syndrome when I used to buy golf clubs but thankfully learned my lesson. Buy a paddle you like for less than $100 and lean to play better.

I own a Onix Z5 paddle is ok but I replaced it pretty quickly as it's sucks for drives or serves.

I have the onix as well and bought an slk halo this weekend. Both are good but you're right about the serves. I used to have to hit it super hard but now it's a light flick of the wrist and its perfect
