Same here, keep an eye out for good property over your way, defiantly looking to head that way in the next couple years, and if ya wanna fish on Table Rock the Livescope is up and running…l
Awesome, I plan on spending a lot of the summer at TR (Shell Knob area) next year. My wife asked me this week "do you really want that crayster trap that's on your Christmas list"? (: "Heck Ya" (:(:(:
@@kenblew2625 I have two lake traps, they are intended for short soaks, I think on longer soaks allot get our. Snake River really does seem to work better on Table Rock anyway. Good luck!
Hi Steve, can you make a video explaining the process how to cook the crayfish and all the condiments, for how long to boil and everything else, thank you.
We are working on a boil video right now, last time we went out trapping, we filmed the boil, but ran out of daylight at the end of the video so lighting isn’t that good, which caused me to pause on posting it. Because you asked, I will…lol. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!!!
How deep are you setting your pots? Looks a little deeper than I have been told (8-12 feet)… I’m heading down to TRL next month near the Baxter marina area. Any good advice for a somewhat newbie?
I look for shelf rock and set my traps around 15-20ft deep. I have a couple videos from last year that do a little more explaining. I think it was one of the early ones. I trap mostly around mid lake area and I get pretty consistent results. I live close to the damn and don’t do near as good up here, so location does make a difference. I also try to find little creek or run off valleys, where when it rains it will wash stuff into the water. We are coming out with a new video that takes us from trap to boil to making Crawfish Bisque soup. It should be a good one. Also god traps make a difference to with a big enough opening. Crayster makes a real good one called the snake river. Extreme Outdoors in Branson West also sells the black square ones i use too. If you would be so kind as t subscribe, you will catch the next video. It will be one of my best ones yet. Good luck out there and thanks for watching!!
I've seen them, and we have even contemplated eating them. But every craw I've ate from Mo. Tasted like mud. Tell me these don't, and it's on next time I get there.
I am a seafood fanatic, raised in Fla on fresh seafood. Table Rock is clean, deep and cold. I have boiled these in straight water, dipped in butter and the closest taste i can compare it to is a prawn. Somewhere between shrimp and lobster. No joke, they are tasty!
We had so much fun making this video, hope you enjoy!
Those are some monsters!!
It’s was a pleasure meeting you. -Brad

8-12 feet should be good, I set mine around 20, but catch em at your depth too. Good luck
We have set out some traps but not much luck we are on the Eagle Rock end of the lake any suggestions or tips you might share.

Thanks so much for the info. Can't wait for the new video. Have you ever thought about taking people out on trips?
