I just…after all these years, sat down and watched The Breakfast Club, I absolutely adored it! What a perfect movie imho. I also still have a VHS player and have some old tapes. I’m now determined to find a lot of my favourite ‘80’s flicks. Great video you got here!
The Breakfast Club truly is a perfect movie. When I was capturing the b roll off the VCR for that one I basically just watched the whole movie because I was so locked in haha
YES a great channel with lots of love for VHS. I agree with your opinions, the best is "I dont think there is a bad Scream movie" (!) so true. Subbed and will follow, I would love the ranking videos. Greetings from a VHS - collector from Finland (we have a small but quite a passionate community of vhs-enthusiasts in Finland)
I loved the flashbacks! I enjoyed your reviews and trivia tidbits! When you were doing Adam Sandler i was like "what about wedding singer!" You saved the best for last! I've never seen Mall Rats !😮 what!? I'll have to check ot out!
I Was a teen in the 80s and 90’s. I grew up with VHS tapes and started collecting them a few months ago and having a blast doing so. A cheap hobby full of memories. I absolutely love better off dead. One of my favorites as a teen. I found the same copy you have at our local HOW thrift store about 2 weeks ago and was so thrilled. Definitely one of my grail movies I was looking for. It is sad how many people have never even heard of it. Very fun movie!
Wow I remember sooo many of those movies…I too was a teenager in the 80’s…..love many of them…they bring back a lot of fond memories…..thanks for sharing
Pretty neat collection so far that you have shown. Some really great films you have! I do hope to see more videos like this. I too grew up on VHS (Millennial here) and just remember getting to go to the video store or rental place to find whatever movie or even ones I had already watched over a 100 times. Keep up the work!
Right?! It felt like when we were young a movie or band could really be one such a staple of your personality and life because you didn't have access to literally EVERYTHING.
Love having HD and everything but vhs quality with the popping and tracking adjusting and old videos my mom recorded for me off tv that I binge watched like Neverending Story and Legend and Wizard of Oz with the 1987 commercials cannot be beat. I own blu rays of all of them but sometimes the nostalgia is the quality and process of inserting a vhs.
As a kid, I would tape stuff and I would stop the tape when commercials started. Sadly, I have very few commericals from the 80s and 90s. We didn't listen. We didn't listen. I should have listened to my brother and left the commercials in.
Wow, you brought back some good movies. This is my 2nd time watching this video but this time I’m taking notes, as I haven’t seen a few you mentioned. I believe I’ve seen all of Adam Sandler’s movies, except Zohan…don’t know why but keep overlooking that one. 😊
I think it is fantastic that you have saved your vhs tapes. I have a lot of them too but you definitely have some classics that I don't. I'm really looking forward to you going through your horror collection and hearing your take on those.
Love vhs movies I think I still have our old vhs player and still have a lot my old vhs tapes thank you for bringing back many old memories ❤ I remember riding in cars with boys what a great movie. 80s were my jive John Hughes movies were so a part of my life. Pretty in Pink was one of my favorites ❤
Oh this takes me right back , i havent seen some of those films but will be looking them up ......i think i need to get in the loft to sort through mine , i get what u say about VHS , the same as listening to vinyl records ....Love Forest Gump , Bill & Ted , Back To The Future....Tom Hanks & Keanu Reeves are 2 of my favoutite actors & the Halloween films scared me to death 😂...thanks for sharing ❤
I loved Spaceman 👌, a serious role for Adam, but he was great 😊, each to there own though 🤷🏼♀️. I loved wedding singer because Billy Idol was in it 😅👍. I still have my vcr player, but unfortunately a lot of my vhs had deteriorated over time 😢, so with the rest, I transferred to dvd before they went too, but I still have kept them 😃
I still have my VHS along with DVD and Blu-ray especially 3D. I bought a preserved vhs recoding machine and got three blank high quality tape tapes , barely use it
I prefer to have my own VHS tapes, my own DVD and such. I had IPTV and when the internet went out, I could still watch some DVDs. Apparently, a certain online service went down and people who had bought movies lost access. Also, I don't use cloud services. I have lots of hard drives.
I have tons of VHS tapes,DVDs etc. Birthday parties and vacation home videos! Would not let them go for anything. I’d like to have the digitized for safe keeping, but will continue to keep them in their special VHS cabinet 😂 Great movie reviews and recaps of specific scenes or moments. Thank you and Stay Safe. Namaste 🕉️
I assume you know that some of your nostalgic collection are quite valuable know DESPITE dvd being so much clearer digital technology. I never thought that prerecorded video tape films would one day become collector's items, I can see it more with records.
Back to the future is my absolute favorite movie, i remember watching in the theater when it first came out😀, riding in cars with boys was such a good movie, i love better off dead 😅 "i want my 2 dollars, i have 3 sons and we watched small soldiers so much, but i enjoyed it as much as they did, love the wedding singer ❤, i have a lot of vhs but no way to watch them, thanks for sharing 😊
Wow, I'm sooooo jealous you got to see Back to the Future in the theater! I'm glad to see some mutual respect for Small Soldiers and Better Off Dead here. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I collected VHS tapes also. Then the tape recorder broke and I threw everything away. Had I known about you, I would have checked to see if you wanted any of them before I threw them in the dumpster. Drama, comedy and crime where my favorites.
🎸Adam Sandler was really milking the VHS📼tape in 50 First Dates LOL! So it's only fitting that it would have a VHS release albeit they were still around then but pretty much on the decline! And yes I still have my VCR and video tapes and audio cassettes! Nothing like that analog sound! 🏝🥥⛵🛥
great collection! I have that same blue Scream Drew Barrymore VHS, love it! I really want to get Legend on VHS, 1 of my favorite 80s movies, but I really don't like the US cut lol

Love seeing other people collecting VHS. I, myself, have about 500+ different ones. I also collect every copy of Space Jam that I find :×
That's awesome!
This is by far the coolest t-shirt i have ever seen
