Yup, and here's the other eyebrow-raising stats on 2024 WNBA flagrant fouls:
      - 34 total, and 6 of them were committed on Clark, which is 17.6%.
      - The next highest was one player got flagrantly fouled 3 times, then 2 were fouled twice, everyone else once. So the number of them committed against Clark is clearly an outlier.

Somehow I heard about how Clark was revitalizing WNBA so I asked my friends who’s big on watching NBA, even he didn’t know who Caitlin Clark is, let along the rest of them. Also no hate but why does those African Americans players all have fake eyelash’s and make up like they r going out to clubbing?

She knew exactly what she was doing with those nails. She reached the apex of her blocking motion and then accelerated down pointing the fingernails at clark. Her body language betrays her. She’s just been caught lying about it. These girls are showing the ugliness of their character. They speak out of what is in their heart.
Yo Angel, 20 years from now,NO ONE will be talking you and your playing. Your playing is absolutely forgettable.
And yes, they ARE all watching because of the class she.plays with, in spite of the thuggish treatment some of players are giving her.
One thing I’ve noticed is…No one has pointed to any bad behavior or bad speech by Caitlin. Even after all the crap some of you players have shown her. Just curious, did Diana Taurasi ever get knocked to the ground during any of her years? All the passive-aggressive stuff the WNBA thugs have thrown at Caitlin, and she still treats you all better than you deserve. Even though some might understand Caitlin throwing some shade back at the players talking spit about Caitlin, she still doesn’t lash out. This is the model of an incredibly well-raised young woman.

You have to understand Angel, you want to be watched for the right reasons and not the wrong reasons. You want to play the thug again next year, that is exactly what people will expect from you and always, always remember about you. You want to play the role of hard-nosed, fair minded player who works their tail off......then do that and you will be remembered for that. Look at Sheryl Swoopes as a cautionary tale. She was one of the greats, but she has almost completely erased that through her biased stance in one season......that is one seasons worth of damage staining her legacy. If you don't want that, then don't be that.

    Assists: 2/12
Combined Scoring (pts & ast): 14/55
    Field Throws: 40%/90%
    Field Goals: 44%/57%

    3 Pointers: 0/3
    Turnovers: 4/3
    Score: 81/100
    Games Played: 1-3/3-1
And this game was IN Chicago and ON "Barbie Night" or as I like to call it, "Barbi-Q Night" because not only did Caitlin cook Angel, she roasted her! 😂
Then, to add insult to injury, not only did she twist the knife of defeat after inserting it, she went on to hype up the crowd in Reese's hometown and while Reese ran off the court after the final buzzer, Caitlin stayed behind to sign autographs on Barbie shirts meant for Reese AND literally got a standing ovation from the crowd!

A very blunt no BS assessment of the situation. Well done.
CC certainly brings more eye-balls to the WNBA. But in WNBA's infinite wisdom, they decided to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs because the veterans feel like they did not get a fair shake (totally understandable) and are now envious of the attention she is getting.
If anything, the parallel is when Tiger Woods showed up on the PGA Tour. There were some mumblings (like Fuzzy Zoeller's fried chicken comment) but for the most part the rest of the tour understood that he is gonna bring more money to the tour.
WNBA needs to get a new commissioner who knows how to capitalize CC's presence and at the same time get the veterans to understand how she will bring more money to their wallets in the long run (and at the same time tell them to shut up.)
Yes. A lot of the new viewers are CC fans, but so are a lot of the people who watched Golf's Masters tournament.
As for Angel Reese. She should look up how Phil Mickelson handle himself in the Tiger Woods era.

exactly. the irony behind these vets acting all bent outta shape cause they didn't get to have the shine and attention that Caitlyn has when they were playing, and being petty and taking it out on Caitlyn is actually hurting their potential for capitalizing off their image as a player down the line. If the W becomes something major 10 15 years from now after Caitlyn really opening things up they will be known and regarded as the elite legends of the early years. They'll be able to have brand deals, call games, host and go on podcasts, talk to journalists, hang around their former teams stadiums for game days, do sponsored signings and talks with younger players. Their star will shine brighter with a WNBA that has a wider reach. And them as players will retroactively get the attention they deserved. But no, they want to be petty and tear down the player who will actually make the WNBA huge.. cause of her white privilege. So stupid.

Just for the record...there were "the bad boy Pistons," who pushed physicality to the limit, and then there was Bill Laimbeer, who was a filthy dirty player who tried to injure other players.
At least Laimbeer's transgressions were defensive moves, no matter how dirty...whereas
Chennedy, Carrington and their ilk are just attacking Clark in ways unrelated to the game (as videos clearly reveal), as a way to vent resentment toward Clark for societal ills and personal animus unrelated to anything Clark has said or done.

😂 Did you ever actually watch Lambeer? Dude was dirty ass f*ck as a matter of standard operating procedure. There's no 'at least about it' or 'defense' about it. He was extra an unnecessary as all getout, and he was not alone. What stood out the most was the MF'er was white and still very nobody effed with him. The way Caitlin gets smacked around is like the second coming of Jordan, and only a testament to her scoring ability and her trash talking, which for some reason always gets overlooked. Caitlin talks smack like Bird and those WNBA players can't stand it. All the hate though on Angel Reese is overblown. This video talks about Angel Reese assaulting Caitlin Clark, flat out lie. Then proceeds to say she clapped for the person who fouled Caitlin. BTW they don't mention what lead to all that. Which was Caitlin Clark commiting a dirty foul of her own on the previous possession. I grew up in Michigan in the 80’s and remember, very fondly, watching the Pistons and their rivalries with the Celtics, Lakers, and Bulls. 1986-91 is the best “era” in NBA history. It has the best basketball ever played during that time. Tough, hard nosed, physical play, with no shortage of epic offensive play as well. From Bird’s Celtics in 86, Magic’s Lakers in 87, 88, The Bad Boy Pistons - led by Isiah Thomas - in 89,90 and ending with the start of Michael Jordan’s Bulls run in 91.
