6:28 The Doctor and AFO gave his actual quirk and all of the originals to Shigaraki at the end of season 5. AFO has been operating with copies of his quirk (and by proxy, the quirks it holds). Since they're not the original quirks that have been incorporated into his quick factor, he might not have complete dominion of these copies. For sure this is a convenient time for this to happen xD
Its not just a convenient time.... The quirk factors were reacting to Jirou's words
I think it might be a translation error though. I think he meant that the quirk AFO that he has is a copy, therefore unable to dominate the quirks as well. Since he and Shigaraki clearly don't have all the same quirks. Quirk copying is heavily implied to be a very difficult and resource intensive process, so was only done with the strongest quirks, like AFO and Super Regeneration.
That makes a lot of sense, I think watching it in the moment we were so hyped up we didnt get it lol
Your facial expressions are exactly like mine were when I watched this yesterday. Great reaction! It's really amazing seeing the character development for the two hot heads of the series.
So far its our favorite aspect of this season, seeing all the growth from everyone, particularly when you compare S1 Endeavor and Bakugo to their characters now
