Very proud of the Bengals for taking a chance on Mixon in the Draft when he originally fell out of the first round because of off the field issues. Some players just need a second chance and Mixon has proved his character over the last several years with us.

I think we needed to get that reality check early. That prevents overconfidence and complacency. It gets that killer instinct going and no one will take any opponent lightly after that pain of losing a game like that. Better to have that than have it happen in the playoffs.
