After hearing many negative comments I researched the Proton Preve for myself then decided to buy one. Since day one I have not had one problem build quality is excellent and performance is good. This car is unjustly maligned and I could not be happier with mine. Also the best value for money car in it's class.
even preve's chasis is purely mitsubishi lancer's,not even modified,so what is that they say "designing n paper work showed,sumthing new,approaches,global standard,whatever,what have u guy done rather than campro cps,grow intelligence and not be racist but i think giving chances to other races rather than all being malays like video above especially for engineering field,it would have been much better...
malaysian car are good and quality and worth for price.when firstly honda company made a car..they use 'CAN' as body material.but people proud of it because the price is expensive even the quality is not really good on that time.but if malaysian made a good and quality car for reasonable price.people still critics because the criticians just jealous because malaysian car now getting better and better
as of Year 2020, May. Proton Preve did not meet the market expectation and plagued with lots of reliability issue. Proton axed this model in Year 2018 after six years without any facelifted model. The executives of Proton new parent company, Geely has actually commented that this car's refinement is like a tractor and at least 5-6 years behind of Chinese Geely. Its the truth and its cruel... rip Preve

The Preve CFE engine spec looks convincing. But not the CVT gearbox. The gearbox is a crap. Very sluggish!!
