  • Ahh, first date jitters. Meeting a stranger for a first date is awkward for anyone, but showing up in your scooter can add a whole new layer of complexity. Luckily for Fiona, this dude is a real knight in shining armor...
Zach Rogers is one of the funniest guys we know. We barely made it through filming this because his improv had us cry-laughing. He has a hilarious channel and podcast that you should check out: • Rowdiboy Podcasts

I thought the punch line here would be that - he will do things for this woman and then - comes another one - his real date.

While it definitely helps, i will say, thinking negatively like that will probably do you more damage than good. Im also disabled an unemployed, but, depending on your limitations obviously, id try start going to the gym, everyday if possible. Not only does it massively help with mood and outlook, you feel way more confident, but it helped me to get off of all my medications, get clear in the head, an made me feel myself again, no more depression an anxiety (after 15 years feeling this way on meds). I mean do it for yourself, first, but catching the eye of attractive girls is definitely a nice benefit!! also dont compare your progress to others, they dont have the same challenges, just try beat yourself from yesterday!!

      Don’t give up.
I’m disabled, married 38 years to an incredible person. When you find the right one, it works.
But you need to bring something to the table.
Kindness, empathy, positive energy. Interest in your partner. Fidelity. Shared interest.
Oddly I think the disability helped find the right one.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂I am totally the guy on a date... totally awkward and accidentally saying weird stuff... except women find me funny and laugh a lot... I don't understand why... I don't even think that I'm funny... I really never laugh at myself... but those women I talk think I'm hilarious... I just don't get it

    • @TakeMeToYourLida

I think you’re trolling, but just in case… based on my experience dating men, the women you’re talking about are laughing to appease you in the moment. Your story confirms it, otherwise one of them would’ve stuck around and you wouldn’t be talking vaguely about all the women you’ve dated who think you’re so funny. Most women have been conditioned to act this way with men for no reason that has anything to do with the particular guy, and the rest of us do it because it yields better results for us- not just for the free drinks/meals but it’s easier and safer than honestly telling someone who could murder us with their bare hands that they’re ridiculous, sexist, and annoying the hell out of them with all the boasting and mansplaining. You’re boasting in your post which makes this more likely. I’m sorry to burst your bubble if you really don’t get it but this at least helps you with some perspective other than your own internal echo chamber if you’re willing to consider you may be perceived quite differently than you see yourself. Most of us are so it’s not unusual. It’s hard to see ourselves. Best of luck.
One last thing- I could be wrong and you could be completely misunderstood. But if you feel angered by this, it’s a sure sign it’s a trigger because it’s hitting a soft spot for you, and that’s something to dig into. For yourself. You deserve the healing and growth.

@TakeMeToYourLida you're absolutely right. . I never said I went on dates with these women... I honestly haven't been on a date in 18 years... and I haven't had a girlfriend in 20 years... so I totally agree with you... my perspective needs to change because I've spent so many lonely nights these past 20 years... I am 38 and haven't been on a date since I was 20... it was at Applebee's... the lady I went on a date with ended up telling me she was going back with her old boyfriend and we couldn't date anymore... I shouldn't have hesitated when she gave me her phone number at starbucks... I honestly was so scared of rejection from her, that I didn't ask to go on a date for a year... by then, she had already went back to her old boyfriend... she looked like she really was sad we couldn't go on anymore dates... but I hesitated... that was 18 years ago and haven't gone on a date since... I was talking about the random women I talk briefly to at the stores when I pass by them... I am chicken and prolly never will go on a date with them... so I never ask them out... I talked to an incredible amount of women and never asked them out... in fact, the last lady I've asked out in 18 years, she said no because she was a lesbian.. how's that for dumb luck... but you are right... I am at fault and need to change because I am apparently doing something wrong... hopefully that clears things up

@TakeMeToYourLida I am autistic so dating is even more ridiculous. I can't stand nerotypical women anymore they confuse and annoy me and, in my opinion, are kinda boring. I line dance alot and always go for the girls that have ether ADHD, autism, tourettes, aphasia, etc. I like women that have more of a understanding of my situation and you are not gonna get that with nerotypical women. It feels like modern feminist culture considers men like me to be nothing but freaks which I don't understand. Am I freak for being social awkward, not being able to make eye contact. Being bombarded with intrusive thoughts. All my senses are way more extreme except my hearing shooting firearms as a kid dealt with that problem. I love swing dancing with women because I can feel their emotion through touch. I don't know how to explain it. I have been trying to get with this one girl I know is autistic but doesn't know it yet. She is a lot more shy than me but likes to dance with me regardless and has a lot of similar feelings and interests as I do. Autistic love is quite a lot different than nerotypical love it is way more intense even though I can't really express it but can't hide it at the same time. Nerotypical find it creepy which I can understand to a point. I think they just get nervous with men like me that are a lot more strange than most men they see normally.
