Great video. Awesome job I just finished working on my motor. Cleaned the brushes inside and got it working. I still may need to buy some of that oil. Where exactly did you apply the oil at on the motor?
Usually at spindles at both ends and in the holes that are usually on top. Honestly the perfect way would be to disassemble the motor and clean the contacts but the easy method is usually “ good enough”.
@@Kryptosmaster had a Star Wars troop transport vehicle as well. The motor is bad after testing it. I’ll have to find another motor for that. That particular design is a little more difficult the way it’s wired up. I’ll have to find a motor replacement

Nice work Richard! Nice work! That’s how I get those old motors to run. Good video.
Great video, nice to see success, can't wait to fix mine now. What type of oil is that?
Called Zoom Spout. Can get anywhere like Wal-Mart, hardware store, etc
@@Kryptosmaster Great tutorial on how to fix the motor, thanks. Would 3 in 1 oil be okay to use? Or mineral oil?
@Man of Action Awesome, thanks!
A magnetic screwdriver would help you.
I should give my childhood Falcon a full overhaul. Thanks for the inspiration
