The break down, built up is a effective way to boost up the speed of basic training but has no regard for psychological or bodily health impact the goal here is to generate canon fooder that can shoot in the correct direction and has a minimal survival chance in case of war.

that Bug Goddess didn't give him blessing to talk hyuman language, so everytime he talk for hyuman is like Makoto using alien language, but thats only when talking, he can just write it just fine. . . . . . . . . . . its later after he met with that Bug Goddess for second time, as for helping hyumans to 'stop' the war against demons, he ask for the Blessing and stop to ever forcefully summoning him, and the Bug finally give it to him in disgust, same with Makoto that received it with disgust too... lol

When the other gods visit Makoto they argue about how the "goddess" took some questionable shortcuts... with Makoto she actually did give him a blessing but she didnt wanted to give him something that could help him so she gave him the most basic skill... be able to comunicate and understand... but she didnt wanted Makoto to interact with her creation (hyumans) so she give him the blessing to understand and comunicate with everything but hyumans... thats why Makoto could learn how to write and understand hyuman by himself (common) but he couldnt speak hyuman (only writting which was made all by himself) so he was actually blessed/cursed at the same time... this changes when he bargain with the goddess and gets to be able to comunicate in hyuman which lifts the curse part and almost kill him from a oveload to his brain...
