You have every right to be excited and happy with your scenery work, which not only looks stunning, but beautifully believable and immersive. And I think it's easily safe to say that Boomer Diorama would approve. * Subscribed * and looking forward to much more.
@@What_If_We_Tried thank you for the kind words! Scroll down a few comments and funny enough, you'll see that boomer did approve. 😁 Really amazed by the positive comments from everyone!
Absolutely beautiful opening scene! Loved the way the light from the headlight reflected off the water through the trees. No reason to be humble over that scene. Just fantastic work.
That lake scene really turned out amazing, wonderful job! You are very right, the trees in front of the trains really do something and help make the scene look even more realistic.
The Seneca Lake scene is exquisite, one of the best scenic scenes I've seen. Another thing that shines through, is the autumn colors for upstate NY is so fitting for any layout. You have exceeded in bringing to life in that particular scene. Very well done, will be looking forward to your next update.
Like I said on your Facebook post. This is the best...so far...scenery work you have done. It only goes up from here. Keep striving to be creative and imaginative. It inspires me to create better scenery as well!
Really nice scenic details. Only thing missing is dead trees and dead fall trees on the ground. Typically about one in 12 trees in a forest is standing dead or damaged.
@@FGLKPaul This isn't just a quick atta boy. Having spent quite a bit of time in Geneva, Rome, Utica, Honeoye Lake areas and being a landscape photographer and model railroader this scene is really terrific.
Congratulations on leveling up your scenery modelling skills 👍 The scene looks great and seeing the ditch lights peeking through the tree line was very cool.
I have caps in everything. Not that I needed them but only because it helps the locomotives run better. Great layout. Looking forward to the ops session in September.
Wow it looks great cant wait to see this in person Saturday on the Op session!! Great work work looks alot like late October for sure. Now I really want to go see the real line in person Thanks Pual lol.
It looks good and nice coloration on the trees. The sky line blends good at one of the angles shown. Only thing i saw is the water effect with the straight line across it. If you curved it when doing it . Then it probably would have disappeared with the paint and material. Either way keep up the good work.
@@adriengadson3544 interesting idea about the curve. That's actually the split of two modules, and the one has to be quickly removable in order to be to work on my electric box. Hadn't thought about curving it when I put it in though.
My suggestion would be to several of the "Access paths, dock scenes" on the shore to give it the "Lakey look." Perhaps one can be sort of decrepit and unused/ seldom used with an old boat moored there?
@@154Colin there will be 2 docs eventually. I don't want to make the whole lake look like that though. I want to try my best to portray that there's some significant distance being covered in the scene. And putting them right up next to each other wouldn't have that effect.
Very nice! My one note would be to perhaps wipe off the water before taking vids/pics - there are a couple of bits of stuff, and I think I can see dust. I think I live quite a ways further north than you do, so it doesn't look all that cold to me. 🥶🥶
Absolutely 💯 beautiful 🤩 scenes 👍👍😎 !!!

Good move to go with the muted colors. The opening shot of the headlights reflecting in the water - you could see shadows from the trees. Money shot!
