ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

There are countless videos of people doing fake Russian sounding gibberish and "sksksksksk" which is simply annoying. When it comes to "unintelligible" this guy is one of the few ASMR'ists that gets it.

Most people don’t know what unintelligible means. The thing where you can’t understand what he is saying is inaudible. Unintelligible sounds is like telling a story and then you mutter something and then your talking about something completely different. Check out ghetto asmr’s unintelligible videos. I think that hand movements in front of the camera is a large overlooked trigger in the whole ASMR community. I wish there were more videos like this. I'm just blown away by how thats a huge trigger for me, just hands up to the camera and slightly moving, who knew, something so simple right? Asmr is a cool and mysterious thing, I love it! :))

I watched these videos in a play list once and it slowly got off track. I fell asleep and woke up 5 hours later watching a grizzly bear dance. I will still never know how it happened.

I've been immune to ASMR tingles for a couple of months, and it only takes 5 seconds into this video to get them back. This is why this is the best ASMR channel on youtube.

But most of the time you just get imune to a certain trigger sound. Whenever I experience a new trigger I tend to feel very heavy tingles more likely.
