I added lug centric spacers when using Mini Cooper rotors with these bigger calipers. You probably have noticed when installing the rotors there is a slack or movement as the cooper lug opening is larger than Honda’s.
Nice EK4, the brake upgrade is not extreme but it will be much better then the original brakes. I have still the original calipers on my EK4 but with slotted rotors and ferodo DS2500 pads. It would be nice if you build this car with a for the street daily driven turbo b-series setup. (Between 300-450HP) I would love to do this on my EK4 in the future. (I miss the torque on the b-series and would be much nicer on the track) And if you can make a step by step video on how to do this and what must be upgraded there will be maybe a lot of people be interested in video like that. There is a good video of MotionAutoTv about it (How To Turbo Your Honda Over The Weekend!) but there is not all the information like ecu setup and extra important upgrades you must know to get it save and without issues. With all the K-series cars, the B-series is a little forgotten I think and ok it is old but still a great engine. Greetz Kimbo

I was looking at doing a CRV brake conversion for my EG Civic.
282mm Cooper Rotors are the go, i remember reading about the upgrade years ago on CRXAustralia forums

Doesn’t the Mini Cooper brake upgrade advise you to use a spacer on the wheel stud since there’s a bit of a gap when you slide the rotor over them?
