I loved Elise's mixed patterns outfit! I don't think I would wear it myself, but I did love how it looked on her. I loved Sofie's jewelry for dark academia look, it would have been interesting to see a mix of the 2 outfits with some of the jewelry pieces :)

I loved the beautiful orange and blue in Elise mixed patterns , but Sophie’s was so great as well mixing the stripes and check in the top and the bag. I think it was a tie 10/10 for both of you. As a NYCer I’m OBSESSED with Sofie’s dark academic challenge. Especially love the touch of the blue tights. Bright colored tights always are a little too bright for me but I love them as more of a hint under trousers. Love both your choices of the 80ies, especially how contrasting they are - Elise's all sweet and soft, and Sofie's bold and expressive. But it was also fun to see you do a take on Dark Academia without the usual brown tones, I think it turned out all right :)
Having grown up in the 80s... you both did very well! there were a few mainstream trends that were very big! I not sure if TV made or reflected the fashions. The major ones I remember: men’s wear(called “the Annie Hall look”), prairie-style (three-tiered skirts and dresses of patterned cotton, often of mixed patterns was a big nostalgia of the old west and Little House on the Prairie), preppy (country-club meets prep school- plaid skirts, white oxfords, vests, wool or tweedy blazers, polo shirts, etc... see Fresh Prince, Family Ties) aerobics/athletic (bright colors, shirt often of geometric patterns of several bright colors, leg warmers, shorts were short, jeans were straight legged and tight! See Fame, aerobics videos) and power dressing - your were spot on Elise- (dresses and suits (either pants or skirts) shoulder pads, chiffon or silky... see Dallas, Knot’s Landing, Falcon’s Nest) Music videos had just been born, so also affected style - hammer pants, stretchy knits, jeans bleached or in COLORS and baggy, paperbag waists). Though not of your era, I love your vibe and style!!! Think of you as a soul-sister!!! 💕❤️💕
I don't understand why Elise keeps repeating that her dark academia outfit was terrible and that she was very lost trying to pull together anything, because her outfit is actually a perfect prototype of dark academia. 😁 I liked it a lot! (then again, I dress in that style almost daily)
I liked Elise's Kathryn Hepburn outfit, it was a 9/10 for sure. Sofie won the dark academia and Elise won the patterns but it was because that was their thing. Next time pick for each other.
40s 9/10 for both, mixing patterns although Sofie didn't really mix patterns I loved the outfit so 8/10, Elise mixed patterns but not so keen on outfit so 7/10, dark academia both outfits 9/10, 80s outfits Sofie 6/10 Elise 7/10 good job well done to both of you such different outfits for the same theme xx

My favorite for Elise was the patterns and my favorite for Sofie was the dark academia. I think a segment where you each choose your favorite style and you pick out the clothes for the other person. For example Elise picking out a bright colored boho outfit for Sofie and Sofie picking out a dark academia victorian outfit for Elise.
