Definitely go for the dark bedroom! I painted mine dark navy, and carried it over to the ceiling and it’s SO cosy! It’s literally heaven! X

Oh I love the Blue! It looks so regal and expensive! I also think it makes your wedding pictures really pop and they look amazing!
I think going darker in your bedroom is a great idea! I want to do the same and I feel like we often put off painting as it’s a ‘Big job’ but it’s SO worth it when the outcome looks that good.

I love how the dried flowers turned out! So good for the first time and in odd circumstances (on a cruise!) What I love about drying flowers is that they will continue to change over time, so they may yellow a bit more as they continue to dry.

For the flowers that went a bit funny you could always replace them with the same type of flower pressed!

The frame with your flowers looks stunning. I absolutely love it. I had fake flowers so that I could keep the whole bouquet but I would have loved this. I feel like you were disappointed because you expected some of the colour to still be there, it's one of those things you don't really think about, but it looks so lovely on your new media cabinet.
I feel you with the packing. We went to a Parkdean a couple of weeks ago and I'm normally very good with packing but I couldn't get my head in the right place and ended up just throwing things in Suitcases and bags the morning we were going. I feel like I get myself really overwhelmed now I have to pack for my twin 3 year olds too and I make it more complicated than it needs to be. Realistically if I forget anything it can always be picked up.

Now I feel trendy as this is my living room decor too! Usually am copying UA-camrs/instagram myself 😂 looks really lovely, we find it so cosy having one dark wall and the gold just compliments it so well! Xx

Your lounge room looks amazing. You are great at interior decorating. The shutters look very practical and easy to maintain. Your room is so versatile you could have a summer and a winter look/change just with change of prints and cushions. I am very interested in your home cinema set up. I will have to research on the internet. I am going to definitely get a copy of that bookshop book it sounds wonderful. A great fav of mine is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Loved it! With your cushions you could get them made to the size, design, shape. To make sure they match just purchase another one or two curtains and either cut them up or get someone to make them for you, we did this and they turned out perfect just a thought. Enjoy your Road trip, these trips are so wonderful. Your revamped room looks a million dollars, Loved your pressed flowers frame what a fabulous idea. Burnout and you can be THAT creative - I am ever impressed but what a huge nod to your capacity even when things are SO hard. Your redecoration looks FABULOUS. It came together beautifully and it was a nice thing re you introduced me to the idea that we could get a projector (!) we also love it in our living room and it’s top stuff! You both are such good eggs I wish you every blessing as you journey around the UK and continue to heal. I’d love to try some of this skincare stuff when I’m not breastfeeding, hopefully you’ll still be working with them when I’m game!! Massive hugs and respect from London xx

I had the same mould issue with pressed flowers - lightly spray them with isopropyl alcohol, and repress in between tissues!! Cleared it up on mine really well. Might have to do it a few times and just keep checking every couple of days 😊

Simply because I had to change mine recently because it didn’t match, I would change the curtain pole and tie backs to match the gold accents in the room! Mine annoyed me so much 😂
