We, Lebanese people, are the source of some of the problems in Lebanon but also the key to change. We have so much potential to make our country thrive. In one of the darkest times of Lebanon's modern history, here’s a more positive video that focuses on all the amazing but overshadowed sides of Lebanon. I didn’t plan on making a movie about this whole trip, but when I re-watched the footage, I thought: “there’s no way this story can’t be told”.

To make it clear, the intro isn't about outshining other Middle Eastern countries and step on them to glorify the beauty and uniqueness of Lebanon, it's about mocking how foreign media portrays the Middle East in general. If you think about it, no country is as stereotypical as the one I described with the cliché images used. All countries are so much more complex and unique in their own way, including Lebanon since it's such a small country in terms of area but has so much more to offer compared to what traditional foreign media shows! That was the point of the intro, to start off by debunking a common myth about my country 😄

But other countries are fun to travel to and experience different cultures.😜 I have met some really cool ppl who love to travel and of course I told them about Lebanon and now they all want to come. But obviously with me as their tour guide😂😂😂 Let's hope I can do it justice. Went to Saïda last summer. Saw the Crusaders Sea Castle, Souk el adim, the ruins.... Love that stuff!!! But Batroun (my city) has the Phoenician Wall aka ppl should also go visit it. ☺

I have been to 92 countries and LEBANON is definitely in my TOP 3 !!! Amazing nature, wonderful cities, very rich history and cultures, very yummy food (I mean really really YUMMY!!) and the friendliest people I have ever met in my life !!!! BEIRUT has it all !!!! I have been there three times and each time I discover new treasures in this wonderful country ❤️🇱🇧

Iam with you in every word, but most of the Lebanese people are poor and different ideas and it is difficult to collect and unify it in a short time and without a common agreement and agreed, by the parties. Lebanon is one of the most beautiful countries and was even more beautiful before the civil war and corrupted politicians took over. People in Lebanon are so diverse and all know each other it likes a small village. Everyone is the suburban neighbirhoods (dahye) know each other.
