Set up for auro 3d amazing sound plus Atmos is also amazing on it 12 speakers setup + 3 subwoofers you would be impressed if you're lucky enough to have it

Great setup man...a mouse farting probably sounds good on that thang....I have a Klipsch RP-280 7.2 home theater setup that sounds like an eargasm...so yours must be more than I could possibly take at this age...good for you......

Lots of people have Auro3D. It just isnt discussed very often because there isnt much native content. People use Auro for the upmixer as you are currently doing. One thing you might want to do if you havent already is switch your surround heights to rear heights and set them as such in the Marantz. Atmos does NOT use surround height, but it will use front height and rear height. So with your speakers set as front and rear height, you can use all 4 height channels for Auro and Atmos.
room treatment dude, are you one of those? come onn .. have you listen to his setup? if no then how would you know he needs treatment? if he has right sub placement and enough absorption with his coaches and furniture/walls then it could be fine.
My thoughts exactly. Pretty much no absorbtion, speakers have no are to "breathe", three subs are overkill in such small area. Not mentioning that there should be some space left from sub and speakers to the wall itself to lower resonance. I just love people who have money and are luck enough (see video description) and just brag about their setup, and they even know how to set them up.properly
Hands down for the movie choice.. the overall quality of the sound in mad max is outstanding.. no wonder it won an oscar for the best Audio.. masterpiece, ive got a simple 5.1 setup.. yamaha v483 sony x800 and q acoustics 3050 + center and surround, and u can easily FEEL the movie, thumb up👍🏻

The space is 15 by 17 and no I'm not changing the room my setup is more UK this is how they run it over there like I said I'm set up for auro 3d go on UA-cam and look up auro 3d the ready set up you'll see a lot of homes that look kind of like mine auro 3d is not really popular in the US and not many people have it especially you have to pay for the software maybe that's why it's not so popular now you're right I do need to get acoustics that you're right I'm working on that I do play Atmos sounds great and people like my friends have stopped by say it sounds like a 3D they're sound all over they have never heard anything like it the way it's set up it's perfect to them and I'm happy the way it sounds no regrets with the subwoofer it won't be 3 as of yesterday I decided to go 4 sub on the front and two in the rear the only good thing about having four subwoofers is there won't be working hard I'll be able to lower the volume on the subwoofers I just don't know what the rears going to be ultra 16 * 4000 I know for sure I'm going to have one more Ultra 16 so they'll be two subs just don't know about the Rears it's something that we were talking about yesterday yeah I could look like Overkill but I like my shit extreme and reliable but like I said if you hear it you are at my house your opinion would have changed like you there was some of my friends that said the same thing but once they came I made them a believer their opinion was to have never heard anything like it but they understand why I went this route even Atmos sounds good with this setup but also everybody has different taste everybody has different ways of listening to music movies
home theater nel - Badass setup! When you get the subs are you setting them up 4 in front and 2 in rear of the room? I read a review of a 5 channel highend Golden Ear speaker setup that used four towers with built-in subs so there were subs in both front L & R and surround L & R and the guy said that the sound was amazing when there was an explosion or loud rumble in the rear channels the bass came from the back of the room towards the front which makes perfect sense. You should try it out. He said for example war movies and battle scenes like in the movie pacific rim there was bass coming from all around the room. By the way, where are you located? I'd like to hear it in person 😀👍
Jeung21 salamander triple sl30 and yes I love it I like the open way on my amps stay cool and you can see all the equipment Magnolia and it cost me 1200.00 also the shelves are adjustable and heavy duty you can also connect amp racks to it it's a good stand I have no complaints about it
Are you playing Atmos content in Auro 3D Mode? If yes, could you pass on the instructions? I can't figure it out! Also have you tried playing 2 channel music using the Auro 'Auromatic' conversion to auro 3d? If not could you try that too .. can't find how to trigger Auro 3d! I have Denon 4500h which has auro 3d included.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Auro upmixer - stairs sound to the VOG channel. It only works on native Auro3d encoded discs. Which is like 10 movies.
This is more to make a video of this conversation is too long to write it short sentences in the US we don't have auro 3d Blu-ray discs the US has more Dolby Atmos and DTS X I seen the discs on eBay but I don't know if they work in the US their UK versions maybe one day I'll buy one just to see what it does the decoding works on Dolby Atmos discs that's what mine home theater installer told me it works on Dolby Atmos discs and with the research I did it seem that is right it basically because it into three layers but I did experience the same three layers with Star Wars The Awakening and that is not a Dolby Atmos discs so I did more research into it and it seem if you get the software it transforms it into auro 3D and US versions is there major difference between a UK auro 3d I don't know I have not experience UK version disc but in the US the United States we don't have that we just have this decoding that you buy for 200 bucks and it because it decoding and to three layers and I do have that experience with it so to answer your question I can't answer it right now cuz I really don't know what will happen if I put one of those discs in my Blu-ray player and see what it does oh I can tell you is from the reviews what you posted here what is supposed to have the sound of is a 3-layer and I do have that three layer experience in my home even with Netflix movies I'm getting a three-layer experience and that's what auro 3d is all about getting a three-layer experience it breaks the movie into three layers now Dolby Atmos breaks the movie into two layers but like I should say I should make a video this it's more easier on a video too much to write
Rerry1000 it's very hard to explain what it does you have to be here in person to know what it does I only invited one person from the UA-cam channel due to the fact that he lived close to me and the way he describes it in his UA-cam channel when he went to my home and videotape my home he explains that the sound comes from the front goes up to the high Channel and then down the surrounds and height Channel little bit different Atmos but like I said if I do tape it you cannot tell so there's no point I don't know how it really works but it takes movies in decode them to auro 3d as long as you have the speakers in the right locations it works it's basically a 5.1 in the bottom and 5.1 in the top or more speakers Atmos is a 2 layer auro 3d is a three layer that's pretty much the best way I can explain it check out youth men's video of my home he talks a little bit of what he heard

I can't really tell you right now due to the fact that I do not have Atmos ceiling speakers I decided to wait to discuss this but as the way I have it setup now that most people have it set up this way to have the atmos speakers as height speakers Atmos supposed to be set up as ceiling speakers technically speaking or those speakers that go on top of the speakers and they hit the ceiling and and give you an Atmos experience now what I can tell you I have a friend that has the SVS setup and instead of bookshelf speakers as Heights he has the SVS height speakers and altro towers and SVS Subs his setup is 7.2.4 I heard the way his Atmos sound and a sound almost identical to mine till I think mine was a little bit louder remember using klipsch speakers and they're known to be Screamers but I can tell you one thing that everybody talked about my rears are in ceiling speakers when we were at Atmos it felt like a 3D experience from the back when we were in Atmos so that's why I'm not making a decision about Atmos yet like I said the new Marantz receiver is a total of 6 Atmos speakers and I'm going to add two more in ceiling speakers for that Atmos experience what I can tell you about auro 3d it's a totally different experience and I eventually make a video about it I don't want to talk too much not yet not ready to discuss this yet I'll probably have a video out by Monday about my experience auro 3d
home theater nel incorrect. With that setup, you can put a Dolby Atmos Blu-ray in and change the processor over to atmos. Atmos isn’t limited by speaker placement. But Auro restricts you to specific speaker layouts/configurations. You should be able to find an atmos Blu-ray in the US. But over here in the UK it’s the Auro content that’s lacking.
