I'd eaten in a couple of places you showed in Hanoi a couple of years before you, and totally agree with you on those. Living in Wellington, I've visited Auckland often, and have also eaten in a few places you've reviewed and again agree with what you said. So I'm looking forward to visiting Guangzhou and eating at places you've reviewed here as well. I knew Google was blocked and they didn't have Über, but didn't know what to use instead. Now I do. I have WeChat on my phone, but do you really need a Chinese number for your food order, or just WeChat, on any provider?
That's so cool! Sounds like we have similar tastebuds 😁🙌❤️ We're making a video about what you need to know before traveling to China and will cover stuff about apps in more detail there than what we did in this video and the description section too so hope you'll find it useful if you're planning a trip there! 🙂 Yea unfortunately it seemed like at the start needed to enter in a Chinese mobile number then didn't need to do it for any other restaurants we used the app for after that. Most restaurants still have regular menus too though, you just need to ask for it (if you're anything other than Asian looking I think they just give it to you lol as that's what we saw in other places when the rare Westerner would wander in) But since we look Chinese it's expected people use the app to order. You don't have to pay through it though (you can't anyway unless you had a Chinese bank account which foreigners don't and can't get) so you just pay cash and for the menu stuff you just say you're a foreigner so don't have it and they will have old school menus floating around. We learnt the hard way haha but was good to experience it too. In other places we just say we're foreigners and could we have a menu instead 🙂
❤️❤️❤️ thanks hun! 😁 We were filming on a tripod at the end and there was like a security guy lurking around but he didn't seem to care what we were doing and so we were like.. sweet! Haha carrying on 😁✌️

The two cities are very close to each other and share a lot of the same culture too 🙂 we were surprised to learn it's the third largest city in China based on population though!
Haha we were thinking seemed excessive and prob not great for the environment coz so much plastic 😅 but I think the reason they do it is for time efficiency for them and also to show the customer it's clean. They send all their plates and cups etc out to contracted cleaners and they send them back like this is what we heard!
We didn't think much about it at the time but later we were like.. damn.. they must have so many customers every single day and the amount of these packed up plates and cups must add up heaps! @.@ didn't see it at too many restaurants though.. but funny thing was we still saw people doing the traditional thing of cleaning their teacups and stuff so guess people still don't trust the cleanliness 😅 or maybe they just like a hot cup 🤔 I'm really not too sure of that tradition lol
Hey Peter and Yen! So great to see this food tour of Guangzhou China! That was wild at that place you had to order all the dishes on the phone app, it must have been challenging if you weren't from there. Mad props for sticking it out and ordering. The pork dumplings, pork bun, egg custard, sticky rice all looked so delish, and a nice dim sum spread! The Goose and sauce looked so interesting and the fish and sauce looked really good! We would order that for sure! The wonton noodles looked great and not a bad price for $2.80. That herbal tea is great that it works wonders for colds and you grew up drinking it Peter! Beautiful view of the river and great video! Much love!
Thanks heaps you two! 😊🙌 Yes China is definitely not the easiest place if you can't read or speak Chinese (unless you're in Shanghai or Beijing) so luckily between the two of us we know the basics and could scrape by! 😅 It's so worth it though.. ridiculously good food and incredible sights and historic places too that we'll share in other videos 🙂👍

You make great 👍 videos. I like the ones about Vietnam. I lived in China for ten years and Guangzhou is one of my favorite cities. I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 now but going back to China in the new year. I miss it. So funny you order on We Chat. Of course everyone uses it. But I must admit I have a hard time when I can’t use google maps
Thanks heaps James! Glad you enjoy our videos 😊🙏 wow that's ages to stay in China! Awesome you're going back in the New Year, do you have some family/friend there? Yea WeChat for everything but we still prefer old school menus lol 😁 Yes! Oh my goodness.. not having Google maps or having it with VPN but it not working well is a struggle. We used Baidu maps which was a lot better to find and get us to the right places but of course it's not in English so can be tricky 😅
Ohh I see! That's so cool 🙂 when was the last time you've been back? Wonder if it's changed heaps since then. Shanghai (where Peter is from) changed a lot since the last time we were there!
Peter and Yen my first stop will be Shanghai and then Taipei. I usually find that when traveling some things change and some things are the same. But it’s part of the adventure of traveling
Def helped us a ton during the times we were visiting cities on our own! 😁👍 It's all in Chinese but you can pretty much work it out easily and go for the high rated stuff 🙂
Yum cha looks amazing, I guess the best yum cha has to be found in China itself. We had one of the best ones in HK last year 🤤 Claypot rice looks delish and to die for too 😍 would really wanna try that. Roast goose too, omg look at that glistening skin, yummm! We miss Kam’s roast goose from HK we had last year, the skin omg, I can eat that with rice only for a meal lol Great video as always, looking forward for more China videos 👍🏻
Thanks guys! 🧡💛😊 And yea def gotta have yum cha in the place it originated from 😁🙌 the claypots were the best sooo good. Wish we could fly back for more 😅 Peter has been to HK once before and I haven't had the chance so hoping to go one day too! 🙂👍
hi peter and yen, well as you can tell i am back home now and started to catch up the vids, another smile on my face , having met you both i can honestly say that you are so natural in person as you are on your vids, and just as charming too , after talking to you both and seeing this video i think china is still on my bucket list, take care and keep up the good work
Hiya Barry! ☺️👋 Great to hear from you and that you're back home safely 🙂 it was awesome getting to meet you in person! Yes def put China on your bucket list, it'll be quite the adventure 😉 thank you for your lovely comment as always 💕
Hahah Peter can't handle heat at all 😅 not cut out for hot weather this guy 😂😂 the cutlery wrapping we get why they do it.. just to show it's clean and probably coz they send them all out to get washed and that's how they come back but seems like excessive use of plastic waste 😅 after this restaurant there were maybe only 2 others that we had it like that though luckily!
Lovely wedding n congrats to Shinji n Yoko. Love the lighting places...so spectacular and amazing. Also love the "Peter & Yen dräwing on the turtle....so cute.
I found Apple Maps worked , offline also . We were inGuangzhou and Guilin in September. Food was amazing. Fantastic noodles congee you name it. Really just go to any place , even the little hole in the wall restaurants were great. Your videos wants me to go back just for the food.
Arrr nice yen and I are both android users so not too familiar with apple products. Might need to try that out next time we're in China. You're totally right about great food in guilin and guanzhou 🤤 guilin food episode out tomorrow 😉
We miss our wrapped dishes :-D That grilled fish looks good. (This is Maria, of course) That bowl of noodles though. That drink sounds very healthy, Peter. We would be all over that black truffle clay pot. Although the eel clay pot sounds good too. Fantastic tour guys. Take us with you!
Thanks Maria! ❤️ We were thinking later seemed like a big waste and not great for the environment all that plastic for the dishes 😅 thankfully didn't see it at all the restaurants we went tho! Oh my goodness those claypots were seriously sooo damn good! Honestly wish we could go back for another round 😅 Glad you enjoyed the food tour 😁🙌
Hi Ray 👋 Thank you so much! 😁🎉 I think you're officially the first commenter to congratulate us on hitting 10k subscribers 🙌😊 Thank you for your kind words too ❤️ We appreciate the support 🙂🙏
Yea even like lil random cafes/restaurants all had their own menu app and accept WeChat or Alipay.. they do everything through WeChat ay.. payments, banking, social, it's pretty amazing. China even has electric bikes and buses running everywhere which was cool to see 🙂👍
Wowsers! I've heard a lot of restaurants don't do menus anymore. But, do you need a Chinese bank account to pay using WeChat as well? Ermahhgerrd that Char Siew though.. I could skip everything for egg custard tarts and just eat 2 of those. Peter - do you speak fluent Mandarin as well as Shanghainese? Far out, I'm always down for a bowl of Won Ton noodles. Currently eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast and damn near about to throw it on the floor watching this.
Yea most places we had to purposely ask for a menu and ended up just saying we're foreigners so we could avoid going through WeChat to make it easier for us lolol. Even if you order via WeChat, you don't have to pay through it at restaurants, can just still pay cash but you do need a Chinese mobile number though so that will be the hassle since it's not easy getting Chinese sims anymore! Towards the end of our trip we made a what you need to know video so hopefully will help others out too that make it there! Peter speaks pretty ok Mandarin, it improved a lot while we were in China but it's like pretty child level lolol enough to get by! His Shanghainese is super rusty and not as good as his Mandarin.. pretty much goes off what he remembered as a kid which is pretty impressive! Hahah love your comments 🤣 Cereals are good too 😁✌️
Wow... You guys seem to be loving China. So many unique dishes. Was that Hopia you tried? That herbal drink looked interesting... We were thinking it might taste like medicine...interesting episode guys 👍
Thanks guys! China was amazing, just so much to see and super deep history plus amazing food like next level good especially in Shanghai and Guangzhou! Could be hopia! Looks like it :) and yea those herbal drinks def taste like bitter Chinese medicine lol 😂
点都德 is my favorite place for yum chai and Guangzhou has one branch is in the movie of the “A bite of China”, good expirence n thanks for sharing, love to watch :)
It's an incredible place! We didn't realize Guangzhou was the 3rd largest city in China till we went on the trip! Hope you'll enjoy the rest of our videos from our time in China 😉🙌❤️
Haha it was soo good ay 🤤💛 not sure how much harder it would be for people who can't read or speak Chinese but damn the food was so good it was worth the struggles!
Aw you're in Japan? How awesome! We'll be going there just for a week in Jan for a mate's wedding 😊 always love Japan but their winter is soo cold! Stay warm ❤️🙂
Hahaha he really loved that claypot too! But he super enjoyed the goose as he always wanted to try it and found it super yum but I think reckon those claypots were the best!! ❤️🤤
That first dish with the shrimp fried bread looked so delicious. I love pork buns 😍 Ohh the goose looks yummy, I've never tried it before, but after watching this it seems like I've been missing out. Must've been hard for you guys at first to get used to using all these new apps in China. We strongly rely on google for GPS and reviews usually. Seems like the prices are still pretty reasonable. Great video guys!
Thanks Lana! Dim sum in Guangzhou where it originated from is def a must.. all the dishes there were delicious! Peter super loved the goose, too fatty for me 😅 and yea you really realise just how much you rely on Google apps when you get to a place like China and all of it is blocked 😅 the struggles we had with our VPN too.. used Nord which is suppose to be the best, they advertise how they work in China and other UA-camrs promoted it but we found it was useless in China! Worked for a few days then no more for the rest of the time.. thankfully we had my phone that used a sim with no restrictions so we could get a workaround by downloading files to phone then transferring to laptop and doing this workaround set up but it was all such a hassle and constantly stopped working 😅 whenever we could get a few hours of Internet we'd upload but it was rare so we were lucky! 😅
Peter and Yen Ooo the goose sounds good! Damn. That really is annoying. We use Nord too, I guess China has found ways to crack down on VPN’s? Glad you guys were still able to upload, it sounds stressful. You guys must appreciate having all your apps back in Cambodia now 😄.
@@LanaTiare haha was more frustrating than stressful but yes definitely glad when we got internet again 😂 worse comes to worse we just would've had to miss our weekly Sunday upload but we didn't wanna break our streak of over 1.5 years never missing a weekly upload haha so am glad things worked out 😁 Hope you guys are having a blast on the other side of the world in Austria! 🙂
China has some next level deliciousness lol.. we had a lot of great food in China and some of these Guangzhou ones were right up there! Then there's Shanghai.. where Peter and his family are from so they know all the extra good spots 😍👍
Seems like all the different foods there are really cheap in a good way and a wide range of foods. I never had goose before, that might be interesting to try one day.
Yea food is definitely a lot more affordable and reasonably priced in Asia! Still have the expensive stuff too of course but you can def get extremely delicious cheap meals easily 😋👍
I will be in Guangzhou, China, next month..❤ Hihihihihii.. And I loveeeee Chinese food so much! Especially the noodles.. Yummm.. LOVE this videooooo, SisYen BroPet..❤
Hey Cili how are you hun? 🙂 Chinese food in China is amazing! Soo many food options it's crazy! If you like noodles, that's what Xi'an is known for and the noodles there are incredible!! Guangzhou food is super yum, so cool you're getting to go visit. Try the claypot place if you can, it's super yum 😋🤤
Hiya 👋 sure did! A bunch of others, we've got a China playlist if you're interested to check it out 🙂 ua-cam.com/play/PLyvOF1SGpdVMYm1S0ujuqhtIOod50i_Fy.html&si=NXzgJvVSwK4ROTXM
Haha yea it is Canton after all 😁👍 yea he's wanted to eat goose for ages but they don't sell it in NZ and we just haven't had it in other places.. way too fatty for my liking though 😅 he super loved it though 🙂👍
It was ok but not anywhere near as good as the other places we had! That place only sells won ton noodles lol so pretty much only thing you could order if you were there lol. Had to add flavouring to get it good 😅
All the food looks very nice indeed. Thank you for showcasing Guangzhou, the food capital of China. It will be helpful if you can show us the name of the place where you had these wonderful food.
Hey guys 😄 just wondering how you guys went about getting We-chat payments as foreigners? WE couldn't set it up as we didn't have a Chinese bank account.... BUT that would be so handy to have next time! Those dim sums had me like 😍😍😍😍 literally drooling!! The food in China is so dang good! Roast geese? Haha never even knew you could eat that.... Although I guess that makes sense. Its kind of like a big duck. You guys should a dessert video 😍 I love the weird and wonderful desserts you get in China!
Hey guys! 😁👋 Nah you can't do payments via WeChat as foreigners. Def requires Chinese bank account which foreigners can't get but you can still use the restaurant apps for ordering (if you have a Chinese mobile number 😅) we then just pay by cash. For ease of things when we went to other restaurants and couldn't be bothered using the apps to order we would just ask for an old school menu and say we're foreigners 😅 and yea Chinese food in China itself really is next level amazing! We've got some desserts in various videos from our trip so hope you'll enjoy the other videos to come 😊🙌
Hope you get to live out that dream too James! 🙂 One of the best ways to enjoy life for sure 👍 Thank you for the love! ❤️ And yea! We're def keen to go Tonga one day as well.. will need to make a trip there one day 🙂👍 Are you Tongan? Ofa atu! 🙂
In Australia, we are more interest in what the Chinese put in their food then the look and taste. You should check out what they put in it and all the ingredients they used.
Is there a reason why google youtube etc is blocked? I was salivating when you guys were eating the food at the first restaurant. Yum! I loved reading your guys full description. Good info to know. My parents were in China last year. They went on a tour though but the last few days they did alone and they loved it.
My mum saw a chinese doctor while in China and he took one look at her and told her what was wrong with her. Then he made her a tea blend. Mum says its pretty rank but it works! Lol
Hahahaha Chinese traditional medicine can be very effective if you go to an expert. They are masters of natural therapy. Google and anything owned by Google is banned because the government wants to have full control of the media that the people see. That's awesome that your parents went last year n had a good time what was their favorite part?
@@PeterandYen Oh right fair enough, so how do you guys use UA-cam? LOL!!! I am not sure, but Mum always raves about the great wall of china. Every year my parents go to a new country and for Xmas Breakfast, Mum will try to either decorate the xmas table with that country decor or try make something from that country. This year they went to Samoa. Looking forward to Xmas this year too! hehe
We actually made a video about things to know about China and cover that internet struggle lolol. Basically you can get a HK sim card that has unrestricted access.. or you can use a VPN like NordVPN to get past the firewalls but it sucked for us! 😅 Worked all of like less than a week then stopped working for pretty much the rest of the 2 months we were there! So bad 😅 that's so cool about your mum!! The Great Wall is amazing, so much better history behind it too and just a incredible feat of human engineering. Will be in an upcoming vlog of ours too 😁🙌
You can do everything with WeChat over there. It's amazing. Nothing like trying the food at the source. That fried bread with shrimp looks so good. And give me all the BBQ pork buns! All of these look good. Ooo, we had one of those "random" buns, but ours had rose petals. That other bread looks like melon pan.
Yea they really use wechat for everything! Must make it pretty handy all things in one single app! 🙂 Haha yes! Chinese food is incredible in China itself! It does look a bit like melon pan 😂 we miss those from Osaka especially with the green tea ice cream inside 🤤
I nearly took a job here. I do like the look of the city. Perhaps it could be our next home in a few years time. Food looks decent and reasonably priced. How long are you guys staying in China?

Haha thanks Caroline 😁 Chinese food in China itself is just next level amazing 🤤 we had a bunch of unforgettable meals during our time in China going from city to city! 🙂 Hope you and Tevita are both well 🙂👋❤️
Oh man those claypots looked so good! Awesome episode guys!
Thank you! And yes oh my goodness.. best claypot rice dishes we've ever had and we thought we had some great ones in Auckland! 😊
*friends
Peter and Yen I was a teacher there so now I do have many friends there. Looking forward to seeing old favourite places and some new places 😃
Really helpful tip on using Dianping app to find great food!
Def helped us a ton during the times we were visiting cities on our own! 😁👍 It's all in Chinese but you can pretty much work it out easily and go for the high rated stuff 🙂
Yum cha looks amazing, I guess the best yum cha has to be found in China itself. We had one of the best ones in HK last year 🤤
Claypot rice looks delish and to die for too 😍 would really wanna try that.
Roast goose too, omg look at that glistening skin, yummm!
We miss Kam’s roast goose from HK we had last year, the skin omg, I can eat that with rice only for a meal lol
Great video as always, looking forward for more China videos 👍🏻
Yay!! First time!!
Always fun to visit new places! 😊
Hahaha 4 favorites ?? Hahaha
Hahah it was tough for him to pick with this! Was easy for me as I had 2 clear stand outs but that salted egg truffle claypot.. omg.. 🤤🤤🤤
Peter and Yen it looked like you guys were in heaven
peter sweating :D - it must be hot indeed!
I love how the Cutlery is wrapped, i guess we know its clean, pop it open - popped XD haha
Hahaha how come you ended up posting this on our Guangzhou video mum? 😂😂❤️ It must've auto played to the next video 😅
@@PeterandYen ya think so..🤭😘
I found Apple Maps worked , offline also .
Thanks for sharing yummy food in Guangzhou n interest to watch:)
By the way, that is Red bean cake......
Ooo good to know thanks mum! ❤️
Congratulations for reaching 10k subscribers! No doubt you will get to 100k in no time. Your contents are fun and informative! Thanks Peter and Yen!
Hi Ray 👋 Thank you so much! 😁🎉 I think you're officially the first commenter to congratulate us on hitting 10k subscribers 🙌😊 Thank you for your kind words too ❤️ We appreciate the support 🙂🙏
by watching this video...we'll go with Peter! all of them are FAV! ^^ haha it's because we love Chinese food haha ^^
Lolol it's the best! 😁🙌
Those foods in Guangzhou, China looks so good
Hi Thu! 👋 It's got amazing food and each region has their distinct specialities (just like Vietnam!) 🙂
We Chat to order food and a Chinese phone number?? Wow! Far cry from the old school cart dim sum. Welcome to the future!
Hahah love your comments 🤣 Cereals are good too 😁✌️
Welcome to where my ancestors were from!!! Guangzhou!! My relatives still lives here in this city!
Canton! Awesome Vic 🙂👍 Great to have relatives living there, they would know all the good spots!
Thumbs up for the clay pot. We both love eels! So cool for u guys to experience Guangzho food in situ!!
Those claypots were heavenly 🤤 yummiest we've ever tried and so awesome to finally eat Guangzhou / Canton food in Guangzhou itself! 😁🙌
Nothing quite like Cantonese food reviews from ethnic Chinese! Great video. I'm a fan.
😁👍 glad you enjoyed it
30 minutes for my lunch time .... I am not sure I can wait much longer after watching you eating that much :)
Hahah hope you ended up having a delicious lunch 😁👍
Loving all the city shots
We didn't even realize that Guangzhou was the third largest city in China til we got there haha but yea big city! 🙂
I knew y’all wouldn’t disappoint!!! Noodles!!!! Yassssss
Hahah had to have wonton noodles but reckon in NZ we get better ones than that place lol 😁
点都德 is my favorite place for yum chai and Guangzhou has one branch is in the movie of the “A bite of China”, good expirence n thanks for sharing, love to watch :)
Ooo wonder which branch that was! The one we went to was so big.. and so yum! 🤤👍
Hello Peter and Yan! Shout out to my home town!
Hi Kerry 👋 Aw nice you're from Guangzhou! Such good food 😍
Wow, that's so cool that you order through WeChat! Those wonton noodles look divine... Yum!!! 😍
Haha yea but we def still prefer old school menus lol 😂👍 just something about flipping thru pages and all haha.. 😁 thanks Chelsea! 🙌
Why oh whyyyyyy did I watch this before dinner
Hahah hope it was a yum dinner 😁👍
Wow, you guys have a lot of different foods looking yummy and delicious thanks for sharing your video dear
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂👍
I love ❤️ China. I love ❤️ Guangzhou
It's an incredible place! We didn't realize Guangzhou was the 3rd largest city in China till we went on the trip! Hope you'll enjoy the rest of our videos from our time in China 😉🙌❤️
OOOHHH THE FOOOODDD 😍🤤 You guys are literally creating my travel bucket list 😂 Can’t wait to visit one day 🙌
Haha it was soo good ay 🤤💛 not sure how much harder it would be for people who can't read or speak Chinese but damn the food was so good it was worth the struggles!
Peter and Yen Haha oh no lol Yeah the food definitely looked worth it 😍😁
Can u give us the restaurant name n address . Easier with my foodie trip to Guangzhou.
Hello check the description we leave all the details there thanks
Claypot rice sounds perfect in cold Japan right now. And coconut chicken soup is always delicious!
Aw you're in Japan? How awesome! We'll be going there just for a week in Jan for a mate's wedding 😊 always love Japan but their winter is soo cold! Stay warm ❤️🙂
New Zealand following....lol amazing. You both are amazing....
Hehe thank you so much Missy for always watching and commenting on our videos! ❤️🙂
This last place with the claypot is going to be peters favorite place!
Am I right??
Oh I was wrong! Goose it is
Hahaha he really loved that claypot too! But he super enjoyed the goose as he always wanted to try it and found it super yum but I think reckon those claypots were the best!! ❤️🤤
WAN tan noodles!!! With crab?? Wow!
Pretty sure it was the dish they were famous for coz there's very few items on their menu and that was a recommended one :)
Clay pot looks really good n the goose dish too. ...very different from where we went.👍❤
Yea these are all Canton food :) the cuisines of reach region are pretty distinctive 🙂❤️
The clay pot rice looked awesome! Not an eel guy. Hopefully they have some chicken, beef or pork options.
Plenty of different options for everyone. Beef, chicken or the truffle that yen got. Dude eel in Japan is so amazing though 🤤
Most of the bakeries near me how buns with red bean. Seems to be a go to for most people. I think it can be a bit to sweet for me though.
Yea sometimes they can be made too sweet but these were great 😋👍
the food there looks very nice
*got our like👍Au👍👍🏻always full view🏻 supported😊*
Thanks Billy! So much yumminess in Guangzhou 🤤
@@PeterandYen Happy to hear that! Thank you! Safe travels :)
Wow the food looks so yummy
China has some next level deliciousness lol.. we had a lot of great food in China and some of these Guangzhou ones were right up there! Then there's Shanghai.. where Peter and his family are from so they know all the extra good spots 😍👍
Herbal drink... just like that? I need some of that when I get sick
I wish I had some of that now! Still not 💯 recovered from my cold yet! 😅
They can be incredibly bitter though those drinks!! We've had some shockers before hahaha
Pineapple buns are the breakfast hongkong staple!! Great with some hot milk tea
Always find it so funny there's no actual pineapples lol ooo with hot milk tea would be yum 😋
Thanks Peter & Yen for your video, noticed that you're from Auckland too. Did you visit other cities in China other than Guangzhou?
Hiya 👋 sure did! A bunch of others, we've got a China playlist if you're interested to check it out 🙂 ua-cam.com/play/PLyvOF1SGpdVMYm1S0ujuqhtIOod50i_Fy.html&si=NXzgJvVSwK4ROTXM
HK kind of vibe! very nice.. wait what goose peter has never tried!! :O wow!! a first for everything ^^
Haha yea it is Canton after all 😁👍 yea he's wanted to eat goose for ages but they don't sell it in NZ and we just haven't had it in other places.. way too fatty for my liking though 😅 he super loved it though 🙂👍
Ouf! We've heard about the WeChat omnipresence! Or..can it be called Monopoly? 🤔
Yea def used by everyone and everywhere in China!
That crab meat flavoured Wan Tan soup sounds nice. It's what I would have ordered too, if I was there.
It was ok but not anywhere near as good as the other places we had! That place only sells won ton noodles lol so pretty much only thing you could order if you were there lol. Had to add flavouring to get it good 😅
Oooo I guess I’m getting dimsum tomorrow morning haha
Hahaha man we're craving some now but in Cambodia currently 😅
Welcome to China! Hope you enjoy food and culture there!
All the food looks very nice indeed. Thank you for showcasing Guangzhou, the food capital of China. It will be helpful if you can show us the name of the place where you had these wonderful food.
All the details are in the video description section 🙂👍
Did you have a favourite? Those clay pots caught my eye for sure!
Favorite gotta be that goose but yup the clay pots were insanely delicious 😁
We've got some desserts in various videos from our trip so hope you'll enjoy the other videos to come 😊🙌
I can not wait untill I'm able to travel around the world and try food and see attractions.
Love your vids. Please go to tonga 😂😂👌
Hope you get to live out that dream too James! 🙂 One of the best ways to enjoy life for sure 👍 Thank you for the love! ❤️ And yea! We're def keen to go Tonga one day as well.. will need to make a trip there one day 🙂👍 Are you Tongan? Ofa atu! 🙂
Yeah I'm half tongan/maori ahahh
In Australia, we are more interest in what the Chinese put in their food then the look and taste. You should check out what they put in it and all the ingredients they used.
Wonderful video
Thank you Angel! 😁👋
Oh yea and coz they have their own versions of everything so I guess want people to use that instead like own maps, own search engines etc :)
Will be in an upcoming vlog of ours too 😁🙌
Dang, google map doesn't work. Noted, Baidu Map! I need that to survive basically anywhere haha (Sue)
Haha it's the same with us so glad we were able to use Baidu map ok even though not in English 😅
We miss wanton!! 😍😍
Can't go wrong with a good wonton 😋
Chinese food sounds so good rn ! Groovy vibes friends ✌🏻
Thanks guys! Chinese food in China itself is next level 😁✌️
I nearly took a job here. I do like the look of the city. Perhaps it could be our next home in a few years time. Food looks decent and reasonably priced. How long are you guys staying in China?
Oh and congrats on 10K!!! Next stop 100K 😉
Thanks guys! Guangzhou was great, food so good and can picture you guys staying here too 🙂 We stayed in China for about 2 months, had an awesome time 😁✌️ Currently in Cambodia now and thanks heaps for the congrats! We're pretty stoked to hit 10k 😊🎉 Hahaha very long way to go to 100k tho 😅 We'll try our best 😁✌️
Wow they're still selling moon cakes, salty egg and pineapple sounds really good
Lol dunno about now.. we made this video quite some time ago! We were in China for a 2 months and so got a good backlog of videos lined up 🙂 Currently in Cambodia relaxing and editing 😊🙌 today baked goodies though oh my goodness.. incredible 🤤
They all look so delicious😋
They were soo good! Claypot ftw though! Yen here 😁✌️ hahah
I would definitely like to try it if I visit Guangzhou in the future 😊
The best part of claypot rice is the burnt rice at the bottom
Haha yea a lot of people's fave part! 😁
Imagining l live here lol so many calories are waiting for me
Hey Selina 👋 Hahaha I think if we stayed there too long we def would've added some extra inches to our waists too 😂
Woooooo Peter pronunciation!!!
Back in his country of birth and practicing Chinese again lol 😆
