@@nicholaswirth1011 On some things. I snagged a Nikon D600 with a few prime lenses for $600 recently. But many other cameras have SKYROCKETED in price due to these UA-camrs "reviewing" them. Many cameras that should be ~100-300 right now that are $600-800+ lol. Especially CCD sensor cameras.

The X10 has a 8.8x6.6mm 2/3" tiny sensor. That being said. It's the best version of that size sensor because it's not an x-trans. It's an EXR . These are very capable camera's The XF1 has this same sensor as well and its a banger !

never actually got my hands on an X10 or X20.... but the X70 was my favorite digital camera ever.... they're slightly bigger than the Ricoh GR which i quite liked because they felt more substantial in my hand... and the image quality of the older Fuji sensors just has something magical about them
Haha yes I remember. I had x10-x30 from optical viewfinder replaced to electronics. He's right very small, cute and good walk around camera. For me it's 2/3 size sensor is the problem. Size does matter when it comes to performance in this case as anything higher than iso 800 is just not good enough. Other than that if u just take photos during the day or with good light all the time, it's pretty good choice. I just stopped using it due to the fact I had xe2/xe2s/xe3/xe4. They are similar in size outside but the sensor size inside makes big difference.
Cause people who wants small, compact cameras are now realizing how good dedicated cameras are? Unfortunatly theyre a bit outdated by our standards, but for anyonr going from a smartphone it is an improvement.

Correct the sensor is very small (2/3" = 0.666...) which is even smaller than most modern flagship phones (1/1.3" = 0.769..) but imo I prefer it because of non digital oversharpening (noise pattern looks like grain) +film simulations.
There is a lot of things that don't work well but I loved mine for its size and what it could do, unfortunately I had it stolen (along with everything else I had in Hamburg). If it was weather sealed I would have still had it and most importantly the pictures in it. I was on a cycle tour through northern Europe at the time. I now use an X-Pro 2 which is a bit bulkier but it has the optical viewfinder.
Because everyone wants them. They make a lot of sense. Videos like these also help bring the price up. They are small and light, good image quality (better than point and shoots which they share a form factor with), film simulation (this is the key selling point, jpegs you can upload immediately). If canon or nikon would release a similar camera with proper film simulation or kn camera presets or whatever, at a decent price, it would be successful as well. Another reason is that camera's don't suddenly loose quality, these sellers know that they can sell 10 year old camera's for this much because the new models are even more expensive.
They did this with film cameras from 2019-2022, lots of videos on shooting film, the cameras went up in price. Now it’s digital cameras, they are the new hype!
The prices are getting out of hand. I bought a X10 1 year ago with 3 batteries for 200€. For that price I think it was an ok deal, the build quality on these is like those of old school cameras. My only worry is the on/off switch on the lens but my example wasn't used that much so it shouldn't be a problem before long hopefully.
I used to have this camera for years an it brought back to me the Joy of photography Like in the analogue times. Fuji should make a New Edition of this!!
This is my first Fuji compact to compliment my Fujis2pro. I ended up using it so much cos the pictures were great and it's so small that it is always w me. Disappointed that they didn't really carry on w this.
Possibly but the images need editing. Where’s cameras usually have better lenses and the photos look more natural. Like expensive paint vs the cheap stuff.

I've had this camera since 8 years ago and I love it. While a high end phone may have better specs, it's such a joy to shoot with it!
I've had the x30 since launch, in one word it's fantastic, the close-up capability is astounding.
I bought the x30 for $250 used 11 years ago and I have used it a ton but have always hated it. I don't think it does anything very well...

There is a lot of things that don't work well but I loved mine for its size and what it could do, unfortunately I had it stolen (along with everything else I had in Hamburg). The first batches of this camera had a faulty sensor that showed highlights like perfectly round orbs. Make sure you don't get one.
