Aloha guys I finally thought I solved my problem, except for when the heater ignited, it tends to back fire in the baffles towards the orfice and it kinda sputters, what causes that and also the pump in the front cubby cabinet where the tank is and it sits right above the tank doesn’t seem to go on like it did before, but bathroom sink, kitchen sink and shower has the normal pressure again, but the only problem now is backfiring, at least it’s only in the baffle
Thank you SO MUCH JOHN AND PETER FOR ANSWERING OUR CONCERNS> STAY SAFE GOD BLESS>
Hello, I used to watch your videos a few years ago but stopped because I got so busy with life. I actually had to forget about RVing and take care of my elderly parents. My parents have both passed now and I am back to preparing to get on the road. I'm glad to see your still here making videos.
So sorry to hear about your parents, Mark. We hope your upcoming time on the road will bring some added peace for you.
We are at peace with parents passing away, I watched the first season of the rvers yesterday, very good show, going to watch the second season as time permits@@RVgeeks
You and your channel are the ONLY source of true RV education. It is so badly needed now that there are so many newbies on the road today. And as a 28 year rv'er my self, I enjoy your show in also learning new stuff and places. My only wish is that your show comes on more frequently and is longer. Thank you again for all the hard work that you and your crew do.
Wow! Thank you so much, Ronald! 😊
I am soooo happy I found you. You know everything I need to know about RVing. Thanks for taking time to educate your buds.
Welcome! We’re so happy you’ve joined us here! You might like our blog too for even more RVing info: www.thervgeeks.com/
Welcome back, we've missed you! Great job of your rebranding!
Thank you so much, Sharon! 😊
I was literally just wondering “when will RVGeeks upload a video?” When suddenly I see you uploaded a new video! Hope you guys are staying safe on the road. Keep up the great videos.
Thanks so much! We're safe, and hope you are too.
You guys are the best
Awww. Thanks Steve! 😊
The "GO TO CHANNEL" when you need to know anything about rving. How it works, how to fix it and how to upgrade it. Whatever you need to know. Let's not forget supplier discounts too! This is the place for anything RV.
Thanks so much! You just made our day. ☺️
Seriously.....their instructional videos break down every task in a clear concise manner.
I was just thinking yesterday..."Wow, haven't heard from the Geeks lately!" So glad you are back. We're almost four years into the RV life (weekend warriors) and you guys have made the journey so much easier from our very first day. I still go to your old videos for refreshers! Thanks for all you do.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Mike! It’s always great to hear we’ve been helpful, and you just made our day. Congrats on four years of RVing!
You're definitely my "go to" RV'ers for great info & tips. Hope all is good in all this craziness 😷
Thanks so much, Lola! We're okay, and hope you are, too.
Love the new tag line and rebranding! As a retired aviator, active RV'er, and RC writer....it’s natural I’m still a big fan!
Thanks so much, Greg! 😊
Great to see you back! I really love the refreshed logo...super nice!!
Thanks so much, Jim! Good to be back! 😃
Well done. :-)))) :-))))
Guys. I can't express how grateful I am for the work you have done developing your channel. The content has been so helpful. Just yesterday I was able to fix a hot water issue in our 07" Itasca Meridian 36G by watching one of your episodes. I never would have thought about checking the outside shower valves, well guess what, both the hot and cold were full on and only the wand was shut off! After closing both hot and cold, I started getting hot water again! Keep up the good work!
That is so awesome to hear Brian! Thank you for taking the time to let us know. You just made our day!
Always great to see a video from you guys! We would like to add that not only do you two provide a great service for all RVers, but your discount page has saved us a few bucks over the years when purchasing new gear for our RV. Take care guys and safe travels!
Thanks so much, Kenny & Sabrina! While some tell us they SAVE money with our Discounts page, others complain it COSTS them money. 😂
I love the new updates! We've always found great value in your content! It's been fun to watch the tv show as well, and even my in-laws are now hooked. 😀
Thanks so much! Great to hear. 😊
We love you guys and your videos! Keep safe fellas.
Thank you so much, Marteen! You stay safe, too. 🇨🇦
Great job! Love your new branding!
Thanks so much, Kate! 😊
I really like your new logo.
Thanks so much, Bob!
Love you guys! I was wondering how you were holding up during the Covid craziness. Glad to see you back in action.
Thank you so much, Catherine! We’re keeping safe and sound, and hope you are, too.
Love the new look guy's, looking forward to all the new content
Thanks Colin!
Hey Geeks. We are at Oostema Farmstead in Lynden, WA . Guess we missed you by a week or so. Host Lisa says hello
Hey Larry! What a wonderful place. Sorry we missed you. Have a great time, and tell Lisa we said hello!
yay great new logo and good to see you back
Thanks so much Nancy! Great to be back. 😊
Only now realized you had a tv show!
Just finished checking out your new web site. I like it. Easy to navigate. As usual, great job. Still waiting for my RV to get out of the body shop so we (Jean and I) can get back on the road. Sadly, a very drunk driver crashed into the front of our parked Itasca Spirit and did over $30K in damages; bent frame and destroyed front end. Still looking forward to meeting up with you guys in the future. Best wishes and happy RVing.
Thanks for the nice words, Joe, but so terribly sorry to hear about what happened to your rig. Hope you and Jean are okay, and you'll be back in your Spirit real soon.
Great new welcome video! :)
Thanks so much! Means a lot coming from you. 😊
Do the Feds still search RV's at Hoover Dam? We loved RVing full time. Great site, Geeks!
Hi Barbara! Since the opening of the new bridge that bypasses the dam, there is far less traffic actually travelling over the top of the dam. We haven’t been there in a while, and aren’t even sure that RVs are allowed over the dam anymore. It’s possible that they are required to go over the bridge now. If they do still allow them over the dam, we bet they still search them. Last time we were there, post 9/11, all our compartments were searched, including with dogs.
New subscriber here, looking forward to searching through your video's.
Welcome Dave & Diane! Great to have you here with us. We hope you’ll enjoy tomorrow morning‘s brand new video on winter RVing. ❄️
Congrats on your success. With your busy schedule, will you still have time to for us here on UA-cam? We all hope so.
Thanks so much, Mike! We have new UA-cam videos both planned and already filmed. Stay tuned! 😄
Hey guys, we are new to your channel. My wife and I look forward to watching your content.
Welcome! Thanks so much for joining us. 😄
Ok I watched the video about adding the extend a stay tee fitting and regulator to feed your Weber Grill. I also noticed that you didn’t remove the Weber regulator so my question is what is the regulator at the tank set for to allow the Weber regulator to work properly
Hi Scott. The red inline regulator we added near the tank that feeds the line over to the grill is fixed at 15 PSI.
I am new to RVing, 54 years old and retired. Bought our first travel trailer and getting ready to start the adventures. Do you use a certain roadmap app or just the regular one like google maps? Thank you for your videos.
Hi Glen. Congrats on your first RV! Hope you have years of fun with it. We typically use a couple of options for route planning. The easiest is just Google Maps, since we can use it on our laptop (bigger screen) and see "big picture" routes for where we're heading, but then also use it on our tablet/smartphone while driving. But we also have a Garmin RV 785 (amzn.to/37wBSPC) that allows us to enter our height & weight so it can avoid routes with low overpasses or bridges we'd exceed the weight limit on. It works OK, but not great (and it's a bit expensive)... tends to create crazy, longer routes when it doesn't need to. Since we tend to travel out west, where low overpasses are less of an issue (compared to the Northeast, for example), we generally ignore it... and just use Google Maps.
If you want RV-specific (height, weight, propane restriction) routing, there are other (better?) options besides the Garmin. RV Trip Wizard (bit.ly/rv-trip-wizard) gets a lot of good reviews, though we don't use it ourselves. And another option (that we HAVE used) is the Copilot RV GPS app (copilotgps.com/en-us/rv-navigation/). Seems to work better than the Garmin RV GPS and is less expensive... especially if you already have a smartphone/tablet that you can use as a navigation device while driving.
Hope this helps... and safe travels!
Hey Guys I'm trying to learn to navigate the RV Blogger world. Any advice on how and where to start?
Apologies if it's not new and I'm only just noticing it, but cool logo! 🤓👍
Thanks Aaron! Great to hear. And yes, it's brand spanking new! 😊
Did you 2 put this up on your main channel as a "intro" type video explaining the channel? Because I feel like that this could be that type of video.
Yes indeed, Morgan! 👍 This is our new channel trailer. Thanks!
@@RVgeeks Ah yes, channel trailer. And, great. :)
Great to see you guys.... is that a new Logo?
Sure is Hector! Good to see you, too. 😊
I am new to your channel, and interested in finding out what video did you discuss labeling of your totes, and also is there a video for a checklist that has a link with your actual checklist. Thanks in advance
Hi Michelle, and Welcome! great to have you here with us. I think this post is exactly what you’re looking for: www.thervgeeks.com/basement-v-2/ Hope it helps. Safe travels - Peter & John
@@RVgeeks thank you
If I could build an RV myself, I'd make it drive, fly, swim, dig, climb, shrink, grow, travel through space and time, and transform. I'd even have an artificial gravity geoscopic confabulator*!
*I got that idea from The Magic School Bus.
Love it, Sam! We're going to have to get you a job at Winnebago! LOL
@@RVgeeks Thanks.
Do you have any suggestions on mobile wifi for rv's that is good for streaming? Thank you.
Here’s how we get online! ua-cam.com/video/ciz5CEd0FQs/v-deo.html
@@RVgeeks Thank you so much for your help!
Loving the new look!!
Shame about the same 'old' presenters :P
(love ya really guys)
Thanks Dan! ☺️ Love you too. ❤️
Do you have a video on how to drive up and down mountains?
Sorry, but not yet!
Tried to start onan 7.5 quiet start diesel generator but the red light on the generator (start/stop) switch stays on and it sounds like its priming, but the generator won't turn over and I have to turn off aux battery switch too make the red light and primer sound go off, and when turn aux battery switch on the red light and priming sound comes back. HELP please 2007 Fleetwood Discovery
Not sure on this one, Barry. But it sounds like your battery(ies) may be drained enough that they don't have the "oomph" to get the generator to turn over. Most diesels use the chassis battery to also start the generator, but it's not a guarantee. Check the voltages on both sets of battery banks (using a multimeter if you have one) and see if they look low. At rest, with no loads on them, they should read at least 12.8V.
two snaps and a circle
Thanks Blaine! Or is this Antoine? 😉
👏😊🎃✌❤
Thanks Patty! 😊
Nice Trailer !!...... or should I say Class A??????
Thanks Ray! We go for Ver E Class A. 😉
Thought you guys went Hollywood and forgot you had a channel. Guess not eh?
LOL! We're still here, Ric! No Hollywood for us. 😉
