Hooray for you, Shannon! It's so hard to look our sin in the eyes, so to speak. Now that you have, and have repented and been forgiven, it'll get a little easier all the time to hear/feel the Holy Spirit convicting you. Slowly you'll notice yourself becoming a better version of you. I'm going thru something very similar except my sins are all pride based. When I looked at it full on the first time I was devastated. It's sneaky and likes to mask itself as other things. But God is working on me. So I know you're on your way to victory as well. Praying for you sister.

I asked God to place me in the fiery furnace to prune me so I can become more christlike. He does answers prayers. He is changing me for sure. So hard to look at ourselves. But we have to. We can do this. God bless you! All God wants is for us to try and be obedient.

I don’t remember ever learning the Book of Proverbs from Church… it’s as if I’m hearing it completely for the first time. It is a beautiful gift. We need to teach this to our young! Dad suffered from a hemorrhage stroke march 27, 2020; at that time the ER doctor said that there no medical intervention to help dad, morality rate was 97% with this condition and dad only had 3hrs to live. Anthony has terminal cancer. What started as prostate cancer has metastasized throughout his spine, legs, and arms. His internal organs are shutting down, and he is emaciated. I have stopped praying for a miracle recovery for him. Instead I pray that he will have a good day, free of pain, an appetite to eat, and that his sins will be forgiven. I pray he can forgive and find comfort in the idea of dying and being with our Lord. Please pray for Anthony, cancer patients, and those who are facing death. May they all find faith, freedom from suffering, ability to forgive, and joy to know they will be in Heaven one day.

I have been praying along each morning and playing these longer night videos while sleeping. It’s been much needed & appreciated. I’ve been a Christian since a young girl. 7 yrs old. These last 6-7 months have been continual issues. Physically, financially, car, etc. the Lord has been so faithful. Yet I’m weary. Believing for an equally yoked mate. Praying for you all as well.

Praying for you, brother Robert, I grew up in a similar situation. Now I'm 48 years old and taking care of my mom who has severe osteoporosis and COPD and STILL won't stop drinking. I pray that your parents turn their addictions over to God, to seek help before their health is affected as much as my mom's has been. Stay strong and cling to God. We can do all things thru Him, right?

God leads with peace. I have had success finding peace and God's will by putting space between me and things(sometimes people) that cause me stress. With these things gone and God's word (a lot of proverbs) at my side the way became obvious to me. It took time. It was a
Oops It took time. But it was cool because to move Therese things in my life I had to lean into His Loving Arms, learn to hide in His feathers, where in the struggle He changed me. And I'm learning God is not afraid of the ugly in me. The unkept the stinky . he just kind of keeps working like a maid who sings a sweet tune while going about to put the house in order not bothered by the mess confident it will all be as it should in do time.

Please pray for me to manage my anger better. I've conquered many sins and have grown my faith tremendously but I can't seem to kick my anger. I'm a mom of difficult toddler twins that fight, cry and do not nap all day and my patience is non existent. I've been praying that they get easier and that I do not anger so fast. Thank you.

We have 3 little boys (4, 2 1/2, & 11 months) and I have been working on my patience and gentleness for years as well. The Lord is with you mighty warrior! He will teach you His gentleness Matthew 11:28-30. I definitely recommend 3 books that have changed me a lot. “Keep Your Love On” by Danny Silk. “Parenting Our Kids On Purpose” by Danny Silk. & “Shepherding A Childs Heart” by Tedd Tripp. Crucial books. Life changing really. Also look into @korimeloy on IG. She has a Really great online course that will change your life and parenting as well.
