Yes, need a heavier leader line, 10lb would not be enough
Thanks for saying that as well. I usually use a 12 lb leader, but 15 probably is the way to go with the fish, rocks, and current.

It was really hot, I guess it's the reason for not many people showing up; The sturgeon must die the last night before, looks pretty fresh.

What do you use for bait. And what is the daily limit?
I was using 1/8oz shad dart. There is no daily limit for shad in WA
