The movie was made after Ranbir and Deepika broke up. In fact after Deepika recovered from the depression following the breakup - a true testimony to their professionalism.
well, her depression had no relation to Ranbir.......... she got detected with clinical depression when she was doing well in her career and in a steady relationship with Ranveer. And that was what she said in an interview, that it didnt make that she had depression cause life was good professionally and personally too.........
They broke up in 2009/2010 and this movie was in 2013😑

"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani." was one of the most beautiful films of our teenage days, missing those no worries days, no matter how many times i watch this movie i never get bored, addictive and nostalgic AF.. sucha classic, makes me emotional watching it becuase it makes me remember my school days :) cant get back to that time and those innocent days :)

You will love it but don't think it is only going to fun movie. It will move you too at multiple instances. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are great at emotional bits and you will be going through a roller coasters of emotions.

This isn't like a crazy serious film but it's still one of my favourites from bollwood, it is so fun, with a great message and i can watch it a 1000 times and not get bored.
