In this movie bunny, aditi and avi are like Harry and Ron and Hermione respectively. The only difference is that Hermione didn't get together with Ron in this movie and choose somebody else. And Dipika is Ginny who liked Harry ( Bunny) but he didn't pay much attention to her at first because there was cho ( another girl) but when Naina became all attractive and bubbly at Holi he started noticing her in a different way but they couldnt get together instantly because bunny wanted to follow his dreams (like Harry had to break up with Ginny to fight Voldemort) . But when all problems were solved these two got together if it makes any sense....I hope it does 🙏🙏🙏

Ok, guys! Here's the thing... there is so much lost in translation here. The translation actually does not do justice to what this song relays. The broken cot, the cool breeze, the earthen pot, the name Kabira, the word Fakira are very culturally relevant. There is no way in hell they can be translated without first understanding what these symbols denote. While I appreciate what you are trying to do... it is not even skimming the surface.
Ive been trying to lool for an accurate translation for the song and i haven't been able to find a sophisticated or eloquent one so if you don't mind could spare some time, translate this for me :") thank you
@@taruniathreya5022 Hi, Taruni! I'm not sure that I can do a better job that this. It's a matter of understanding the symbolism, and that can't be part of the translation but a discussion in the background. If I am not mistaken every Indian immediately understands what the word Kabir signifies, he was a mystic who belonged to no particular faith or community or people. He was not bound to anyone or anything. The same way a fakir is someone who is a free soul, a wandering mendicant. So this song I think plays very cleverly with these symbols to show how Bunny is like Kabir, like a fakir, who cannot be bound to his home and hearth and to one person. The broken cot, the earthen pot, the cool breeze are symbolic of home (these are typical of a rural setup in India), and they are juxtaposed against the freewheeling persona of the Fakir. This discussion could go on I guess, it is a very deep and intense moment in the film and the song does complete justice to it.

It’s a very deep song.. you see bunny just don’t want to lose his emotions to his friends,he wants them to believe that he is only a emotion else brat here who doesn’t give a fuck but he lowkey is very emotional about things and when they all go his tears comes out and naina sees it❤️

During the time of this film, Deepika and Ranbir (the lead actors featured in this song) were infact having intimate relationships and at that time, they were breaking away, both are obviously extremely good actors, their real life relation had played even better on this song.

This is more of friends going to a trip goofing around to coming of age emotional rollercoaster kind of movie. Shot amazing locations Must watch!
This movie was the first movie she made after her breakup with him in real life. She had overcome depression and a huge amount of mental health issues (not just related to him) so in my opinion there is some real emotion in that scene and it makes it more believable to me
