Pete, you are an incredible artist and craftsman! Your guitars are beautiful my friend! Freshest thing in guitar instruments to come along in quite some time. I bet they sound as good as they look! As many know, it's all in the pickups, amp and the magic found in the hand of the person playing the strings that create the voice and I have no doubt that your instruments are very beautiful in voice. Nice work. (don't let the smug bastards on here run your work down, you my friend, are a force to reckoned with)

I think your design’s look more like an acoustic guitar . These designs don’t look rock and roll to me . More like Marijuana Sandals . You definitely have talent but I think to be a guitar maker you have to be a guitarist . Stick to Cabinet Making ! Sorry dude ! Just my honest opinion .

Honestly, i agree that the wood work is amazing, but i think the main idea of building a guitar is somehow lost. It's more of an excentricity to have a guitar that looks like an inflated tyre. Usually i observe that luthiers are pretty much worried about the action, the tone, tuning (and yes, also the beauty of the guitar), but not so much with the shape and construction complexity. it could be anything: a jar, a chair, a lamp,... A guitar brand based on a visual or artistic concept, even for me as an industrial designer, doesn't seem very innovative. Ok, the intention isn't to create a mainstream brand with a production line, i got it; but still, in the end it could be some other object. Considering the cost, time spent and complexity, i still prefer a standard USA Fender, Gibson, Gretsch (etc.) or a japanese Ibanez or ESP.

Think beyond the guitar like I did with my original bike fenders.

Aham... yeah, right, WOW, even Obama could not think of a better sentence!
So, the thing is reduced to: if you can dominate a technology, find where it can be useful. it could be guitars, it could be anything else... Same as saying: as long as i can win something out of it, it's cool. $$$$ Viva Las Vegas! $$$$
No way Pete, you didn't improve the guitar concept, it's playability or anything that we can really call "progression". I will compare it to the dresses we see here in Paris, at YSL. A woman's dress can be sold between 15.000 to 20.000 Euros. But it's just a dress. What you're buying are some kisses on your butt cheeks.

Na na na... i got better than that (sorry, i don't remember the author): opinions are like vaginas, each one has it's own, and he gives it to whoever and whenever he wants. Take care!
