- How could Noah care for THOUSANDS of animals on the ark? In season 2, episode 5 of The Genesis Account of Noah’s Ark, Calvin Smith shares his answer to this question as a Bible-believing Christian.
This is an episode of our series titled The Genesis Account of Noah’s Ark. You can watch the other episodes of the series here: www.Answers.tv...
Amen, I'm teary eyed😢 Praise God for His love and compassion that even if we fall short of His glory and sinned against Him, He still saved us over and over again in the consequences of our sins. I'm just overwhelmed that the earth continued even today because of God's saving grace through His servant Noah who is living righteous in that time. All glory to God.☝️😭🙌🙏
🤣🤣🤣
That's something I've wondered about since I was a kid. Another thing that few ever consider is that many if not all animals have the genetic code t for hybernation. It's just inactive for most creatures since they haven't needed it. If that's the case then the young or baby animals would have entered the ark with large fat stores and hybernated for a good portion of the time on the ark.
God is amazing!
which one?

This is really cool!!😊
Not to even mention the fact that God can do anything...He could have made all of the animals sleep for any set time. Or anything He needed to do.
lol
@@backinblack03Bears can hibernate for months.
It is possible, several fairy tales like 'The Sleeping Beauty' prove it.
Go visit the ark in Kentucky and see.
yeah. As I understand it, their original plan involved live animals. Until they discovered that it wouldn't work.

@@diddsdaddiddsdad6865 If I remember correctly, the issue was methane. Probably God's plan didn't include ventilation?
Noah’s crew probably used a self bailing system on the boat. I’m pretty sure manure was barely touched. Self bailing enhances ventilation and removes waste.
Do you mean like with sea water washing out the manure?
God gave Noah the design for the ark. He almost certainly gave Noah the detailed instructions for handling the logistics, though these more detailed instructions are not recorded in Scripture.
Of course there not because it never happened
Such instructions would take an encyclopaedia.
@@AnthonyTolhurst-dw1nc They’ll believe anything as long it’s in the bible 🤭
@@diddsdaddiddsdad6865 Actually, no. We believe it because it makes sense and corresponds to evidence we see today.
@@VanyaD Then please provide this evidence,we would all love to see it.
7,000 ? The current estimate is there are 41, 000 endangered species and 8.7m in total in the world. Many are specific to certain regions. How long would it take and how much space would be needed to get a pair of each all to one spot today ignoring the man power requirements ?
I want to know what the animals ate after they got off the ark because all plant and animal life was gone... What did the plant eaters eat and did the mammal carnivores eat all the dinosaurs?
They said at the end of the video that they cover that question in part 6 of this series.
God made a tree grow in one night and then killed it with a worm in the book of Jonah.
do you really think it wasn't possible for God to ensure that when the animals came out the Ark that was sufficient food for them?
There was plenty of food for the animals but not so much for humans.
That's why the permission was given that they now can eat meat.
because it would take longer to harvest suitable crops.
So God had to also induce frenzied animal breeding also to replace viable numbers and provide enough meat for regular human consumption.
So basically all the animals bred like rabbits except for the rabbits that bred like Hares 🤣
God made a tree grow in a single night and killed it, in the book of Jonah.
do you really think that God would let the animals out of the Ark if there wasn't sufficient food for them?
So although the animals had sufficient food there may not have been enough for humans.
This is why God granted them the permission to eat meat for the first time.
So this meant that God would have had to induce an increased breeding cycle among the animals to produce sufficient numbers.
So basically the animals bred like rabbits except for the rabbits who bred like hares 😂
Do you know how fast plants grow?
There was land visible for several weeks before they got off.
Try letting your yard go for several weeks without mowing and see what it looks like.
@@The-Mstr-Pook Good points, Pook.
The ark had to be one of the greatest marvels of ancient constructions. But the main building instruction came from the God of gods, not from a human being.
Now, I want to go back.
God gave Noah the planes to build the ark and the food system was part of that God knows more than man ever will, even tho man thinks he knows more than God! So he helped Noah build exactly the right thing (Ark).!.
So, did god or Noah kill off the dinosaurs?
How long do bears hibernate? God has the power to have all the animals hibernate.
Remember the story of Moses and his people who did not eat at all for days being with god on mount Sinai right?
Most of the animals were not actually on the Ark, but their DNA was. There were some livestock onboard, but only some of Noah's and his son's livestock such as sheep and cattle and chickens, and most likely some dogs.
I think God put them to sleep
Remember that God can do anything
If god can do anything why did he go to the bother of a flood, why not just kill everything, he can do anything right
@@diddsdaddiddsdad6865 😂 He did with a flood 😂
@@christiancelticwarrior1222 You do know that’s a myth don’t you🫢 .
The answeres are first that there were not many kinds. its a error of organized creationism and historic thought by christians to imagine the host of creatures we have to say were on the arl. they were. but not in theb present bodyplans. That means squeeze all the creatures into smaller numbers of kinds. for example there surely was only one pair of snake or seven pairs etc. there was no giragges or elephants or bears. They were accounted for in kinds more inclusive. Simple. Thats why the critters found in fossils below the k-t line, the flood year line for most creationists, is soooo unlike those critters found in fossil or living above the line. a option.
Also, God carved the ten commandments right? So god could have helped noah built the ark.
It's funny to see you all guessing and speculating how this was done.
First of all: why did God not just give the Arc to Noah? It's a trillion times less complicated than a single cell.
Secondly:
How long did it take for all these animals to walk and swim to the Arc.
And after they left the Arc. What did they eat on their way back? There were no other animals to eat, plants had drowned and rotted away.
Yes, you will come up with undefendable arguments again. DNA on the Arc... Why on earth the most complicated solution ever?
They were all babies,All new borns, left the ark about a year old.Juat before the carnivores started eating meat.
Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Gen 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
God knew that man would sin and fall, and that He would bring a flood upon the earth to destroy every living thing save for Noah, his family, and the animals that He brough to Noah.
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Gen 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Gen 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
Gen 6:15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
Gen 6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
Gen 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Gen 6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
Gen 6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
Gen 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, *_"two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive."_*
Gen 6:21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
Knowing all things before hand, God had created both man and the animals to eat vegetation, this would mean that Noah only had to stock the ark with vegetation for all of their food needs. Eliminating the need for other animals to be brought on board the ark as food items, this eliminates the need to remove the items the carnivores did not eat as well as the extra dung.

Is interesting.
I don't think dinosaurs were walking on earth at Noah's time.
I wonder if unicorns were killed off before then.

Larger animals were taken in the juvenile state. The animals were likely in hibernation on the ark!!😅
Clean animals and unclean
We're dinosaurs extinct by then.
You just have to accept the Bible truth that nature isn’t real. Everything is the result of magic performed by I Am.
There are millions of species on earth. There is no way these would fit on one boat.
Species are not the same as kinds (family level) ...
@calvinsmith7575 I know. YECs imagine this turbo evolution process after the flood. Funny that so many animals are depicted in their current form on drawings both before and after the flood. The Egyptians depicted lions and cheetahs and other cats 4000 years ago. When did this hyper- evolution period supposedly take place?
@@runeaanderaa6840 Its so funny when people accuse YECs of believing in turbo evolution. Speciation is not evolution, and speciation has been observed to happen very quickly. So stop gaslighting and represent what we actually believe...
@calvinsmith7575 I suppose you believe that each pair of animals on the ark diversified into hundreds of spieces in the course of a few hundred years. Then I suppose you believe that the 8 people from the ark multiplied to hundreds of thousands of people before they built cities and the tower of Babel, just 100-150 years later. No archaeological evidence for this, of course. This is what is really funny.
Hehe 😂 nice joke. On the other hand it is sad that people like Ken Ham builds his entire life on misreading the old old books from antiquity and is misinterpreting them 😢
*God gave Noah a (STAFF) like Moses. He used it to shrink all the animals to a tenth normal size. Then they were light weight & used up very little oxygen & food. Only the dove was kept at normal size. Once everything left the ark, he magically put them back to normal size. Once all the animals went back to their normal habitats, then Noah struck the staff on the ground & Pangaea divided into continents*
Ha ha ha.
You should take the place of Calvin.
This is absolutely the best, most reasonable explanation considering the topic.

I thought that myself.
Next episode, learn how Judus rose from the dead, sold his field and took his coins back and threw them on the floor and hung himself.
The perspective offered by hardcore creationists like Answers in Genesis forces people to choose between the Bible and modern science, and reinforces the harmful cultural stereotype that modern science and biblical Christianity cannot mix. Sadly, AiG and their ilk are staking the authority of the entire Bible -and Christianity itself - on the view that a global flood is a viable alternative to abundant scientific evidence for a much longer chronology of creation. To do so, they must add in many speculative details not found in the biblical text, and they must rely on a theory of post-Flood animal evolution in which species diversify at rates many times faster than any known biological mechanism. These theories, along with many others posited by young-earth creationists, are not based on any credible scientific evidence.
ridiculous
God gave Noah magic powers that made the animals disappear when they got too big.
First
It could even be possible that Noah brought eggs of egglaying animals.
Perhaps, God also gave them manna to eat.
