Elemental 4K Ultra HD Unboxing / Physical Media at Best Buy

- First, here's an unboxing of Disney/Pixar's Elemental on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray + Digital Code. This is the standard version that is available only at Disney Movie Club. I also show the Best Buy exclusive steelbook version. Finally, I take some time to discuss the announcement that Best Buy will no longer be selling physical media in their stores or online as of 2024.
It’d be a shame if Best Buy stopped releasing physical media. I really enjoy their steelbooks. Not to mention that, for Disney movies at least, the steelbooks feature good artwork on both the 4K and Blu-ray Discs, whereas the standard versions just have the discs in plain blue. Pixar of course is the exception, since their discs always have artwork no matter what

@@andykishoreBest Buy isn't even selling online beginning early 2024. Is Walmart pulling out of physical media sales also? I haven't heard about Walmart stopping. I hope they're not. Last I saw about them pertaining to physical media was that they were trying to get their own DVD/Blu-ray/4K UHD manufacturing business.
@@90sKidForever88 Walmart no longer selling physical games next year is at least confirmed and several sources are talking about that. Even the CEO of Limited Run Games has spoken up about Walmart's decision with that.
Yes thank you I saw that article trending on Facebook I don't really buy DVDs anymore and they're getting expensive but you know.
I'm hoping disney continues the steelbooks elsewhere like Walmart, amazon or even the Disney Movie Club
This is another fantastic release from Pixar yet another one I saw in theaters with my niece and we really enjoyed this one a lot. As far as the artwork on the Disney movie club slipcover that matches the soundtracks cover artwork.
Even Australia and New Zealand stop Disney physical media thanks to Disney plus 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I got the Walmart exclusive because I like the slipcover better than the regular version.

Do you plan on getting the new 4K Blu-ray of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that came out around the same time as this? I personally got it and the version of Elemental that you showed in this video from them. The new restoration of Snow White looks wonderful in 4K!

Turning red was fairly good idk about any other resent Pixar/Disney movies haven’t seen any other them up is very good
UPDATE July 2024. Since April 2024 BEST BUY has stop selling Dvds and Blurays at their stores. They still sell videogames. Target has reduced drastically their movies displays same with Walmart. Will see what are they going to do at Black Friday. Hate this streaming bullying 😤 . Many movie theaters (independents) have closed too. So sad.😕😞😖

the standard 4K release being a DMC exclusive is truly an indicator of how much the format failed to catch on with general audiences. nobody buys 4K because it’s either too expensive to upgrade or they have other options to watch in 4K. i don’t buy 4K because i don’t see a reason to nab all new equipment just to watch it. what makes best buy’s decision more insulting is that it doesn’t apply to physical video games, but i guess those sell better than physical films and TV shows. the all digital future isn’t all it’s cracked up to be if you ask me. why would you want to live in a world where you can’t own a movie? and if you need verification, variety and other publications confirmed that yes, best buy will soon be ending sales of home media *as soon as* Q1 2024. could be sooner, could be later.
1080p is fine for me but physical edition is the best way.
Keep tv on bluray too is needed.
Yeah yeah, we’ve all heard the news Best Buy won’t be stocking up on home media next year but keep in mind that’s for movies and TV, not for video games. And yes, I plan to get that one showed in the video for Christmas. I’ll go elsewhere to get anime blu-rays as BB isn’t known for selling anime unlike Walmart (though only Gkids, Crunchyroll and Viz), Amazon, the Crunchyroll store (or what Right Stuf used to be) or Sunrise Records in my area. Not super devastating or anything, just unexplained change really.

First up I got Elemental on Blu-Ray+DVD at Target. Secondly Best Buy stinks now a days. And thirdly I'll never go to Best Buy and their website ever again. But overall I'm glad your alright J's Blu-Rays.

This movie is actually a really good best movie from the last couple years the trailer is what killed the movie because it looks so much different and kinda bad compared to the actual film
