- Let's make an easy scarecrow gnome diy. This is a great little fall gnome and since it is a no sew gnome, it is pretty simple. You can make this is about an hour. This is a great autumn gnome, fall gnome and Thanksgiving gnome. These would be super cute as a place setting for the holidays. I hope that you enjoy the video. Awwww a pumpkin gnome!!!! So adorable!! Patti so have great talent. Love to be your aid to watch you whatever comes next!!! Your brain must go crazy thinking of whats next. This one should be the perfect size. I was talking about the one that would have been the size of a pick for a wreath or plant. I like the ones that are about 7 to 8" tall.

So cute, I thought you could also make him sit on the pumpkin by using pipe cleaners for the legs, so he could sit,then u could shorten the peg so his body would hide the peg.

Hello Patti- Such a super craft as usual. If I ever learn how to send you a picture, I will send a picture of my Fall Scarecrow. I used a dollar tree sock, stuffing, hat etc. He was so adorable. tks again, for such a fabulous video. You are a wonderful illustrator & instructor.

I love this gnome! I have 2 questions for you. 1. How do you sharpen the dowels? 2. Do you sell these?
I sharpen my dowels with a pencil sharpener. I do sell some at local craft fairs.

what size of pumpkin do you use thanks cindy
I use one that is about 3 1/2" in diameter.
I'm sorry I seem to be the only one with questions If you said what length to cut the legs I didn't hear it. Would you please let me know . Thank you
The fabric for the legs is 4" wide by 4 1/4" tall. The dowel stick is 1/4" x 6" with one side sharpened with a pencil sharpener. Thanks, Patti
