The lower the fertility the more space is needed for a comparable amount of livestock, however it does not affect individual production nor the amount of workers needed to operate the pastures. Basically the worse the land the more grazing space is needed per animal, but that's it.

is there a reason you space the buildings out so much or is it just for aesthetics?
You need big roads between them at least 2 tiles
And perfectly decorations like benches between them as well
And humans love space
