Aaron Akerejola is spot on. The coach made a school boy error and the crop of players in the Eagles squad doesn’t have that killer instinct and also lack the final cutting edge
Lol can't wait for Aaron in the morning
The biggest problem with super eagles is that they are not a team because they don’t have enough time to train together. As a result I suggest that we groom a home based team that will be training together and give enough challenges to the foreign
based players. If you watch the match, no understanding and no team work.
Aron remember this team reached AFCON final few months ago
Lookman is a scam he was pocketed throughout the game. The Nigerian football federation must stop playing dirty they make traveling for the opponents difficult that's why their players are becoming lazy because they're expecting a weak opponent.
I think this comment makes no sense. The difference between our team and South Africa is that our players are not together because they play all over Europe so they have to finish from the club teams and then fly hours down to Nigeria to play there you cannot get cohesiveness in a weekend
but you can’t bring people together one weekend and that they’re going to be cohesive and win games it makes no sense
Also, the comment that some of the kids were not born in Nigeria and they don’t know what it means to play for the country is a very bad comment. A lot of this players made a choice to play for Nigeria over some other country. They could’ve stayed back in Europe and played for their country. This is why we are not able to get some of the other key players to come and play for us because of this kind of comments , if you only want Nigerian born player then make sure they’re playing together all throughout the year and hopefully they can compete with the rest of the world we don’t want to do the work, but we want rewards
Finally someone is hitting the nail on its head. There's no magic you can perform when a team is lacking cohesion. Majority of the South African team play in their domestic league, unlike our boys who play in different leagues abroad. We need to stop the narrative about players born abroad not giving their all, that's a blatant lie. Lets continue to support our boys, they played a very strong and cohesive South African team. I'm optimistic about tomorrow's game with Benin.
Ooo that was a fantastic observation from you….you really have said exactly what the problem(s) are…poor mentality from players and coaching crew that isn’t smart enough to notice this..
This is where I still strongly believe Samson siasia has no mate…he is a psychologist
My siasia, missing him already
God will save his career
You have to understand that a lot goes into player performance in games. For instance, Mola lookman shouldn't have started that game. One, he wasn't well rested, came late to camp and had no time for training. This is where the Manager's decision making prowess comes in. And that's how you know a sound Manager. Without kicking a ball, you look at his Starting XI and then you look at his formation. Before you even talk about his quality of play.
The first time someone is on the same page with me as regards the eagles…No zeal whatsoever! Awon omo init!
Aaron, I'm sorry you are wrong. Victor Boniface was fully fit to play against South Africa but Finidi refused to play him.
The NFF failed to hire an experienced coach for the Eagles. We must stop playing politics with our football in Nigeria and get serious. I wondered how the NFF got to hire someone without experience.
Is this guy saying south Africa is a mini team?
Yes let them talk ditswene tse they will watch world at home n support minis
You are embarrassing too lambasting Aaron such ways
Don't pass comments with hatred
Cool down nd be calculated joor
U had some good points but u spoiled it all
Lookman faced a good defender dnt use ur ass to talk he tried
Better defender dn those he played?
Be serious joor
Against one of the players Majority who are used to African Continental Football of course it won't be easy.
@@AkintundeAkintola-i9zbro lookman face slow Europe guys modau is fast n good defender
You saw nff mistake, and you refused to say it, the man who can handle super eagles of Nigeria is left at home, and then you appointed a FG, who leaves big players at home with excuses of injury... What is ekong doing, what sa did was to bring the best players... Even with injury...
Where is balogun, where is omeruo, is any senior player there to guide them even from the bench... Where is musa or even one senior player
Oh my!!!
This has got to be the most obtuse commentary I have heard in a long time. Dr. Abati, where on earth did you get this Aaron fellow from? He is clearly bereft of football and is nothing but a beer palour analyst.
First of, where do you get off chastising the players? The issue, as correctly stated by Dr. Abati lies 100% with the coach. The coach sets the tactics and strategy to be used in the game. The coach selects the players on the field, based on who he believes would execute that strategy. Factors that play into the successful execution of a strategy include team chemistry. Finidi got his selections wrong - and when he tried rebalancing the team in the 2nd half, we all saw how the team dominated the South Africans. Its therefore extremely silly stating these players should have taken matters into their hands or that those born and raised overseas don't bleed the green and white. That is absolutely wrong!
Pray tell, wise guy, who were your best players during this past AFCON? Which home based or born player made the team of the tournament? Which Nigerian player won the best player of the tournament? The selection process by CAF was based on their respective performances during the tournament, and was borne out of grit, gut, sweat and fortitude these players you disparaged displayed over 7 grueling games. What arrant hogwash is this guy spewing?
His comments Terem Moffi's 1x1 against Rowan Williams (who is one of, if not THE current best keeper in Africa) embarrassingly portrays this fellows gross lack of football knowledge. Even the very best players in the world have lost out to keepers in such situations and Moffi was no exception.
This Aaron fellow is doing the great Arise TV a huge disservice with his rather poor knowledge of the game. It is embarrassing!
We need an experienced coach not someone without experience.
what do you expect from an impostor coach who has no experience. bring in Emmanuel Amunike
U are unserious joor
Leave Finidi,hater
