I didn't notice on my 1st playthrough since I was quite upgraded due to doing side content, but on my 2nd when I did just the story run...man. NISHITANI IS LETHAL IN THIS FIGHT!
Wow Nishitani survived falling from such height. The Yakuza really have sturdy body ,you can stab or bludgeoned them with motorcycles,but they won't die.
This fight is crazy! A combination of a boss battle and a long battle. It would've been sick if we got a dynamic intro similar to that Lost Judgement RK fight intro where each members of the main cast gets to shine. But still such a fun fight!
Quite possibly one of the most evil bossfights in the franchise on Profesional difficulty. Rest in peace to whoever didn't upgrade the spy gear before this fight.
So when shiotani turns into the extreme heat and launch the lethal actions, must I keep my extreme heat and press B or circle to destroy his attack? I tried many times, I did not see any tips for circle or B button.
I still wonder why Nishitani has the eyepatch. Did Shishido fake stab him in the eye? Gaiden's fights were so damn fun, fighting alongside Watase and Tsuruno here was a damn blast.

It is actually pretty crazy but he does only knows how to live the yakuza lifestyle he literally never had a typical life before this but it still surprises me how he betrays the people who did care for him.
To play devil's advocate I believe the starting relationship between Shishido and the Watase family were transactional, not out of care or principle. He was handpicked out of the other arena fighters to become an enforcer and strengthen the family interest because he stood out. This was not like a bond between Daigo and Mine, it has conditions. Prior to that he was sold off to Nishitani by his own parents to pay off debts. So presumably, while Shishido might've been pushed verbally to get a sense of morality or loyalty, he was never shown those same acts of value throughout his life. So why should that matter to him? Did the Watase family think the deathfights were immoral? Maybe, but at the end of the day the family didn't do much to close down the death arenas or to free the other victims despite being fully aware of its existence. So from another point of view, its somewhat justified by stating that he clawed up the hierarchy all on his own.
