Wow, As I recall this was the first ever meeting.. MIchigan had a lot of talent. Derrick Alexander was so smooth. Jon Ritchie and Trevor Pryce ended up transfering, and Malveaux quit the team. Great video. That goal line stand was one of the greatest moments in Um history.. great post.
Ton of pros to be in this one..
Derrick Alexander is the most under appreciated Wolverine.
I love Penn State, but Michigan just OWNS them! Plain and simple.
Derrick Alexander was a gazelle out there ! LOL He makes one cut , you miss one tackle and suddenly he's GONE !
Hell of a goaline stand!
The goal line stand that welcomed Penn St to the Big 10.
Also thanks for showing scores of both teams, indicating that two teams played a great game. I know you show Michigan wins, however the game in 1994 between PSU/UM was one of my favorite college games I've ever watched.
Wish Michigan kept those road uniforms, they were classic and clean.
I remember that game. Any highlights of the 1994 Michigan versus Penn State game, WolverineHistorian? That was a really good one at the Big House.
1:02 'Elizabeth' as he became known by my SISTER misses ANOTHER one! Lucky for us a Penn State lineman jumped offside on the second miss.
I was at that game and still don't believe that PSU could not score at the goalline...Very creative play calling there Joe...
My uncle is Jon runyan
Around the 7:49 mark, listen for a disgruntled fan in the background yelling "THERE'S 81!" Apparently, Kerry Collins missed a wide-open receiver...
On another note, I still remember how pissed off I was about this game. I was only 9 at the time but was already a die-hard PSU fan by then. But as another poster said, props for show scores from BOTH sides, as it shows how tight this contest was.
Go Blue!
I remember beano cook acting like he had a bad connection and was breaking up and couldn't hear the question when espn was asking him what happened to Penn st vs Michigan after this game because he said how easy a win it'd be for them because Michigan already lost 3 games I believe going into this game and it was first time playing Michigan in big 10! But he was so embarrassed he played like he couldn't hear the guy when he asked what happened to Penn st killing Michigan? Classic.
It sure is nice to watch a replay of a game and not have to see that stupid "crawl" at the bottom of the screen. Ever since 9/11 every channel does it. Although I do like having the score and time of the game on the screen, there is still something nice about not having all of that clutter on the screen at once. I miss ABC's handling of college football. Even though it is still ABC announcers, ESPN drives me nuts with their graphics. BTW, nice win by UM on this day. Classic goal-line stand!!
I still remember psu fans saying they'll dominate the B1G once they entered
Todd Collins v. Kerry Collins
Sunny
yep
I agree, I love Penn State, but somehow they just get psyched by UM.
Michigan WOLVERINES vs penn state Nittany lions 1993 Keith Jackson bob griese lynn Swann
I can imagine, he biffed on lots of em (including extra points). I'm gonna have nightmares about Gingel.
EVER
So why did Ritchie and Pryce leave? Do you consider them Michigan men?
Maybe Hoke will bring them back?
No but looks like they're finally back in 2021
@GreyGhostly record was not very good for all the talent they had.
