- My TV broadcast copy of this game is of very poor picture quality, so here are highlights from Vuolo home movie video (uploaded with his permission). This was my very first game at the big house. I was 5 years old. I have no memories of the actual game. But I remember being completely mesmerized over being in a stadium with 100,000. Our seats were somewhere near the tunnel.
Jim Harbaugh was 12/13 for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Iconic broadcast voice. What a time to be a kid listening to these games.
Great memories.
Michigan outgained Purdue in this game 551 to 104. That defense was awesome. Maybe as good as the 1997 outfit.
Went to this game, in the 80's this was par for the course at Michigan games in A2.
Thank you Wolverine Historian.
Saw this game on TV.
That 1985 Michigan team was very good....maybe Bo's best team. And they didn't even win the Big Ten! Strange how things work sometimes.
Keep em coming WH!!
Did anyone hear who made the tackle at 8:08?
Kevin Sumlin
Who knows what famous coach of the future is playing on a Big Ten team today.
LetsPlayPC Ha! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Good find.
Wow! Michigan sure roughed up Minnesota and Purdue in 85. It's a wonder Wolverines didn't win Big Ten that year. Then again Iowa beat Illinois 59-0
Hail
Wow Jim Everrett vs Jim Harbaugh how vintage is this
Was this the game Everrett tried pushing his way Through Michigan team in the tunnel?
Go Blue!
