This is one of the most beautiful watercolour landscape paintings I have ever had the privilege to see being painted - thank you for sharing your immense skills and talents with us. As I watched this painting come to fruition, I could even hear the water rippling along the stones in my head, and feel the cool morning air as the bright sunlight breaks through the trees and leaves. I think what amazes me the most is that for a large amount of time, you were using the oldest, rattiest, splayed, worn out paintbrush I have ever seen ! I would have thrown it in the bin an entire year before it got into that dishevelled state, but yet you used it to create something stunningly beautiful and intensely moving. This is a brilliant video where I learned so much by watching your technique, especially using the sponge eraser.
I like the techniques you have used here. I especially like how you used small pieces of tape to remove paint along the edges of the paint; that was very effective in creating tree trunks. Thank you!
