    Habe den Staubsammelmischer nach deiner Ausführung gebaut, ich war erst skeptisch ob die Scheibe und die
    Absperrschieber verschmutzen ........ nein das funktioniert super .👍👍👍👌

    I like it & it's really cool 😎
    The plexiglass should have some type of round brace in the middle to stop the flexing, it's just a thought 🤔

    • @CraftyDude
      @CraftyDude  2 роки тому

      Thank you👍 flexiglass is not necessary at that place, can be used plywood plate, same as in bottom🙂

      @@CraftyDude The plexiglass is & looks cool. It's nice to see the dust moving through the system. I just noticed the plexiglass flexing & I believe a dowel brace would help support it. But it's not mandatory, it was just a thought. Thank you for your reply.

      @@uncledope77 Instead of a dowel, try inserting a 1/4" flat head screw from the back and long enough to touch the plexiglass. This would keep the plexiglass from flexing and compromising its seal and the metal bolt could be grounded from the back to discharge the static electricity built up by the friction of the air and dust. It would have a dual purpose. Just a thought. Great video and a nice project.

    Brilliant, any plans anywhere please ? seems to work flawlessly and allows for the blast gate to be near the hoover where it should be for maximum air flow, if anyone is worried about flexing simply add a PRV into the chamber to stop any risk of buckling or implosion orover revving of the suction device.

      no i didn't make plans for this project, it's not difficult find out measurements, main thing is pipes diameter which you will use for system

    Love the build. Any issues with build up of dust in the slide gates? Was thinking a relief slot against back wall on each gate to make self cleaning?

    • @CraftyDude
      @CraftyDude  Рік тому

      Great idea to make self cleaning slot, sometimes it get filled with dust and valve stucking, then I have to clean it manually 👍

    Wonderful. But don't use it. High risk of fire by electrostatic discharge. Or use electricity conductor material to build it.

    I like this. Thanks. If I build it, it will probably have fewer ports. My concern in with drilling and screwing into, what liked like, 1/4 in plywood. Yikes!

    • @CraftyDude
      @CraftyDude  3 роки тому +1

      Great, its good to have more ports even no needed at a time, maybe later will decide to connect more tools🙂

      I am curious as to your concern about screwing into 6mm plywood? There is nothing nefarious about my question just curiosity and for education, that's all. Ah yeah I realise your comment was 2 years ago but maybe....... 🤷‍♂️😁

    • @terryt2910
      @terryt2910 10 місяців тому

      @@josephking6515 Yeah, I had to watch it again to see what I was referring to. Personally, I don't think I could drill that many holes into 6mm (even thinner than true 1/4") without busting through. And if I did manage, I can't see me getting the screws in without blowing out a side or at least having screw threads sticking out. Anyone who can do that, free-handed, is a lot better at it than I am.
