Making Resin Eye Forms For Silicone Busts

- In this tutorial we explain the process of making eye forms for silicone busts. This project was born out of a late night sculpting session, an alligator eye form, and a conversation about the TV Miniseries V. I thought this would be a fun way to re-sculpt a Monster Clay lifecast. By the way, as of this uploading, this bust is still getting hair punched and the eyebrow is not at all where I would like it to be so don't judge me yet!
As mentioned in the video, here's a link to a full page of videos on silicone busts, painting, and moldmaking techniques: www.brickinthe...

So much great info, thanks for all the tips.
Thanks!
What is that liquid you are brushing on the monster clay to smooth it out?
Do you know how to make mirrored molds? Like if I casted a hand of a figure and I wanted the other hand to be identical but. I can't sculpt it that way I can just make mold. Just asking because I have a problem with maintaining symmetry and consistency
No familiar with "mirrored" molds. Not sure how that would work.
Brick In The Yard Mold Supply that's the best term i could use to describe it. I mean like mankind a right hand but somehow making a mold using the right hand cast to make the left hand. Sorry im so confusing
There isn't a way to that inverting a mold or modifying a mold. Thanks to 3D modeling, a part can be reversed in modeling software and then printed. Outside of the 3D printing world, you just sculpt or mold a left and right hand.
