Thank you all for the subs! Enjoy!
Never understood why hall never got belt in wwe.. Especially vs brett hart he was a major heal.. Remember when he smacked Owen ( RIP) hart during a interview😂😂 wwe dropped the ball on razor
jon snipe WHAT?!? Dropped the ball? He became a worldwide superstar in the WWF. What’s with this bullshit marks think these days that wwf dropped the ball on every fucking wrestler ever.
@cobedizzle. Or @ cumdrizzle. Whatever it is if You say marks one more time like your some fucking superior i don’t know intellectual huh what r you a genius or just simple gabgstws Some people take shit too seriously and hey ace
Edge of Enlightenment got punctuation?
Scott hall is a consummate pro and it paid loff. He was totally pro about working with a guy he didn't like and everybody made money in the end right?
I can’t believe he’s gone, one of the most Iconic Wrestler’s of alltime, R.I.P to all the Legend’s who passed away, none of you will be forgotten, thank you for giving us marks so many awesome and unforgettable moments, and helping us all through tough times. 🕯
Razor’s Edge was the #1 move that big brothers did to their little brothers.
😂😂😂 Facts!!!! That & the Jack Knife Power Bomb 💣 💥 🤣🤣🤣
By far, growing up, razor's edge was the coolest looking finisher... His lengthy frame made it look so much more devastating of a move... It was the first "modern" pro wrestling move I ever saw that had flash and totally unique to anything up to that point... My childhood heroes have already begun to fade as time passes... Breaks my heart for real
Sid's powerbomb!
How many of us have back problems today from giving/receiving this 😂
I used to do the Razor’s Edge to my brothers anytime we’re in the pool. Favorite finishing move
The strength a man has to possess to successfully pull off that move is incredible. Scott did it nearly every week, multiple times for the better part of a decade. The man was crazy strong... not too mention crazy awesome. RIP.
You forgot that Sheamus ripped off Hall's finisher and disrespectfully renamed it.
Met Scott Hall at the HOF inductions in 1994, the night before KOTR in Philadelphia. My dad took me and it was an incredible weekend overall. Tried to get a pic or autograph of Hall when he was still Razor Ramon, keep in mind I was 12 at the time, but he was TRASHED. He had a woman following him around, I believe she was some kind of handler/PR person, and he looks at her, while holding two beers in BOTH hands and says,”Do I Look Wasted To You?” Imagine that question in his Razor Ramon voice. It was hilarious and sad all at the same time. I was 12 and I could still tell he was in a bad place. It’s a shame the drugs and alcohol ruined him. He could’ve been something special if he didn’t have all that baggage. I feel weird saying that because he still had such a huge impact on the business overall.
Awesome story, now with a clear head he can be a hall of famer writer if he were to want to pursue it. Any part of wrestling with him in it though can't be mad with his hands on it
You should have given him some wooder.
Love the story. The demons aside. That sounds hilarious in a sad kinda way.
@@TheFailedmessiahmy best friend was a light alcoholic for years, I won’t lie he could say some funny stuff when he was wasted and you remember that fondly but I also hate all the times I had to drag his almost passed out 230 lb. body to bed or up off the couch or the times he’d get sloshed around his wife in front of friends and family & you just felt her embarrassment.
Flair took the belt because Jim Herd fired him and wouldn't give him his $25,000 deposit back. He was justified in doing so.
That's a true fact.
Sure, he was right to keep the belt in his possession. But taking it onto WWF TV was some low class BS. For all those that are about doing the right thing for the locker room: Ric Flair screwed the WCW locker room to get an angle over in WWF.
@@douglasjarnagan3835 it was.
yeah that was fact that flair did pay for the belt 25k and herd fired him. so he was justified for taking it with him to wwf/e.
Not only that but it was his belt. According to Nelson Royal and George Siuth, it was a gift from Crockett to Flair.
Its weird that Razor Ramon only had 1 title shot, and that was in his first year in WWF. His only match was against Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble, when Diesel was the Champion Razor never got a shot against him.
It would've been awesome to see Razor vs HBK for the WWF title.
He was so over regardless. As a kid I cared more about the IC title because of him, Perfect, Shawn then the World title.
That ladder match at WrestleMania 10 is always enjoyable,
They did 2 matter matches razor won one and HBK won the 2nd match
A guy like Hall don’t need a belt
The IC belt was the people's championship back then..
This is from 07. May as well be a lifetime ago for Scott
Scott Hall is doing far better since that time. He’s much healthier. It’s cool to hear him and DDP talk about his progress.
slimshead8100, people forget he’s sober now.
Much respect to Scott Hall on his sobriety.Godbless him and family
A lifetime for anyone
I remember Curt Hennig's father Larry 'The Axe' who was a Tag Team champ with Harley Race. Curt learned and gained a wealth of knowledge from his father and Verne Gagne (former AWA Champ & owner). He was unselfish and passed that knowledge and experience on to Scott Hall who appreciated it and gave Curt credit. Miss them both.
Razor never needed a belt he was super star without it he just had that it factor whether he was a good guy or a bad guy you loved his character regardless
He could have been even more popular with a World Title run or two. But he was unreliable.
Hes a great standalone character. He never needed the championship to further his persona.
Back then l think the IC title was far more prestigious as well. After it was retired and brought back mostly because it still had the WWF logo engraved on it, any old plodder won it afterwards.
He was unprofessional and unreliable.
RIP Bad Guy
You were a serious badass Mr. Hall. Anyone who can get a win over their demons is a serious badass. RIP
Boy, I wish today's wrestlers would follow that advice!!!!
Right im tired of seeing 7 super kicks on nxt and smack down lol
Curt Hennig was so underrated and the way they jobbed him in the end was ridiculous.
He won the intercontinental championship alot only to be stripped that night in house shows making it so it wasn’t real since its not the same narrative that was on tv.He had a few matches that are hard too forget, especially with Bret.He did start coming on in the end before he got seriously injured so maybe They meant well in the end.
Rip guy that double legged Lesnar in his prime 30,000 ft in the Air 💪🏻
Computer Gangster Curt Hennig? Mr Perfect? Who didn’t rate him? He’s widely known as one of the best workers of his era.
Cobedizzle
You misunderstood
Cobedizzle he is known by other workers as one of the best & is highly respected by many in & out of the business however he is still way underrated & not only should’ve but could’ve been a great World Champion who can carry a promotion on his back.
It would’ve been so great to see some long programs with Curt chasing & defending the title with guys like Bret, Shawn, Benoit, Flair, Kurt Angle, Guerrero, and yes even Hogan. I would’ve also loved to see Curt carry Goldberg through a match and beat him in the WCW days because you know Curt could make Goldberg look great even going over him.
Curt could work with anyone, and make anyone look good, even guys like Goldberg, but don’t get caught up with that, my point is he would’ve been a credible and well deserved world champion and not just to transition it.
Computer Gangster yes he did lol. I know what you mean and it’s true Curt should’ve been a long term world champion & given the reigns he could’ve put on some great matches & angles.
The guy went like 90% of a royal rumble match in like 2005 or something, if he could’ve gotten over some demons he could’ve had a hell of an end to his career.
I remember watching him as "Cowboy" Scott Hall in Puerto Rico, before he was famous.
Angel Martinez yep in the AWA too
You must be 50 years old.
@@nastyc85 getting there. I also saw Hugo as a wrestler, Babyface Savinovich.

Curt Hennig dropped some knowledge and scott hall just passed it on in this. And it is so true why hammer a job guy with everything you have when you actually look stronger by just standing looking over the guy while he sells
A lot of modern talent could learn a lot of that. Nobody expects you to put on a clinic with the enhancement guys, they are there to help make YOU look good. If some no name guy is going toe to toe with you for 15 minutes it just makes you look like a punk.
That was a gold nugget
I didn't know Perfect was injured at that time. I wondered why he was with Flair.
Omos is doing that now and it shows that Hall was working with him. Strowman over did it

Scott Hall was the only member from the Kliq that I could tolerate because I found him hilarious.
Two luchadors were wrestling in the ring and a drunk Scott Hall enters with a mic.
"Hey...Yo..It's survey time!"
The luchadors pause for a moment and look at each other confused. Then, they proceed to attack Hall and he beats them up and throws them both out of the ring.
Scott Hall then says, "before I was rudely interrupted....It's survey time!" and continues with his NWO speech.
@J Crash okay I do disagree with @G Ryen not liking the rest of the Kliq but that's as Jim Ross would say... his opinion and I'm sure he's sticking to it!
But why does he have to know these people?
Why's he a fucking weirdo for liking a piece of the coolest time in wrestling.
Oh and @G Ryen when you think about it, it's even funnier that Scott Hall initially interrupted their match lmao then says... before I was rudely interrupted lmao he was pretty funny.
@J Crash Every interview Nash or Michaels do reveal themselves as total cunts, and X-pac is...well, X-pac. At least Scott was willing to work with people.
@J Crash no one ever said they knew anyone in WWF
@J Crash to be honest, your the one coming off as a weirdo.
@J Crash sure did, I'm crying over here. I hope you apologize or I dont really know how I'm gonna recover from such a blow.
Really sweet to hear the gratitude in Scott's voice when he's talking about how Curt Hennig and the wrestlers working in Puerto Rico taught him so much
Curt sounded like a really smart guy.
yea he should of been bigger. he was a great performer
Well he was... perfect
He was the best I love Mr Perfect he was perfect at everything he did .if it wasn't for Hogan he would have had a run with the belt
If you dont know Flairs side of it then you shouldn't talk shit until you do.
Yeah, he was so "smart" he participated in a Lloyd's of London insurance fraud scheme, like Rick Rude who thought Eric Bischoff would pay the scammed money back for him out of the WCW budget he got from Ted Turner. They helped to forever mess up a good thing for wrestlers who lost the physical ability to work through disabilities. Road Warrior Animal tried that scam, too. They were so "smart", they thought they could collect on their occupational disability insurance and take bumps (meaning: continue to work in said occupation) IN PUBLIC at the same time.
Curt was so "smart" he snorted himself to death with coke on top of steroids and bucketfuls of analgesics. He didn't have a "related heart attack", he snorted himself to death - C.O.D. acute cocaine intoxication at age 44. A regular Albert Einstein he was, our Curt Hennig...
Such a "smart guy" - left his wife and four kids to fend for themselves because downhill skiing in Florida was more important.
This advice right here from Henning is more than wrestling You can use it in life.

I heard that after Vince sent Savage and Flair back out to redo the match they wrestled the same exact way as the first one. When Flair came through the curtain Vince was even more pissed off. Supposedly Vince said to Flair “ You’ll never get how it works here” and soured on Nature Boy.

Mr. Perfect was the best at posturing between moves. My favorite squash match ever was seeing him turn a ginger jobber named Sandy Beach beet red with chops. Then he held him between the ropes and started stretching his face, saying "Have you got anyone you want to say hello to at home?" Tremendous heel work.
I love when a jobber gets the living fuck beat out of em
A couple people have mentioned that Flair was owed money so he took the belt but there was also the fact that Jim Herd drove him nuts, ran the company into the ground, and ran everybody else off. Everybody forgets that every NWA/WCW mainstay not named Sting also left because of this guy. Arn, Tully, Dusty, The Midnight Express, etc. And Sting probably would have bailed had he not gotten hurt. The guy was a nutbag and a jerk and that’s why Flair did what he did.
Great interview could listen to scott all day!
I always liked that move even in WcW as the Studd, good shit Hall.
Great interview and advice from Hennig too. That's nice that Scott cared about the fans.
Yeah I thought that was super impressive. Never liked Hall, but got new respect for him. He had business integrity and worked till he was gone, that's cool.
Aside from even Flair, the first bit now makes so much sense. Wrestling Bios (I think) points out that after every move he would look like a spectator thinking "hell, that's gotta hurt!"....so now we know who suggested that...Mr Perfect. Genius.

I was under the impression that Ric owned that big gold belt. Jim Herd was playing games with him and wouldn't pay him proper for the belt so Flair didn't do anything that hurts the other boys because they ended up making another belt anyway. Crockett had the belt specially made for Flair anyway, so when did it become the property of the WCW? I thought Flair sold it to them afterwards? I'm not sure. Either way, I don't see a problem with Flair taking it to the WWF.

Flair was perfectly justified in taking the belt. As I understand it, when you are chosen as world champion, you put a $25,000 deposit down on the belt just in case something happens to it. Jim Herd fired Flair and wouldn't give him back his deposit.
Exactly correct, hall is a joke damn look at what flair has done in the 70's 80's 90's 2000's hall is a drunk
Beat me to it. In those days, Money was Money. Herd, that asshat, fired him for refusing a paycut and a character change to "Spartacus". As the old saying goes, possession is 9/10ths of the law. Herd didn't give him his 25k back so Flair owned that belt.
Big Goldy was Flair's belt anyway.
@Ivan Cook Scott Hall's a drunk but Ric Flair's not?
Remember the launch for WWE 2K14 when he wouldn't shut the fuck up and kept cutting Jim Ross off causing Jim Ross to get fuckin fired for it cause HE couldn't control the guys who were there cause they'd all been drinking.
Why the fuck's that J.R's fault?
Ric Flair ain't no angel!
There was no such thing as the NWA when Flair took that belt to the WWF. That belt was the product of the territories but there weren't any territories left at that time. Therefore, that belt was as fake as the Million Dollar Belt.

6:38 funny to hear Scott Hall of all ppl talk about not wanting to screw over the fans.
I've heard a few stories on this over the years so please feel free to correct me on this one but the story behind Flair and the WCW title (which was pixelated so you couldn't see any brand marks, but we all knew what it was anyways) is that Ric was doing work for Corckett Promotions. They wanted him to do some extra days for bonus $$$. Well, it turns out they didn't have the money to pay Flair. So, they told Flair to keep the belt in lieu of his bonus money (I've heard stories that it was anywhere from $5k to $25k he was owed). So, it was legit Ric Flairs personal property when he jumped to the old WWF. Now when Turner took over WCW I hear he had to turn over a kings ransom to get the title belt back! lol

I cannot stand Flair and I cannot anyone who dares take one promotions belt to the next promotion BUT! Flair was justified for that. At the time champs had to put down a $15,000 deposit for the belt. So he was told drop the belt, Flair says sure but I need my deposit back. They didn't want to give it back to him so it's simple, if you do not give him his deposit then technically he owns that belt.
*EDIT* $25,000 (Not $15,000 like I originally said)
That's ALOT of bread to just hand back to the promotion without getting your deposit back. If you ask me, WCW disrespected Flair almost as bad as WWF disrespecting Bret Hart. What's Rick supposed to do? Hand over the title, get fired and be out 25k? Nah, no way.. Rick was 100% justified. Especially since he gave the title back immediately as soon as WCW finally came to their senses and returned his deposit. (Props to Nate Nizzle for the 10k correction).

It was Vince's idea for Flair to bring the title it was Vince's and they did screw Flair over.
Belt not title
How was he screwed over? Vince paid him well and used the angle of having the WCW belt on tv (censored) as a way to give Flair the advantage when he renegotiated his return to WCW.
