The Korg Kronos Music Workstation is the single instrument designed for live performing musicians, for artists creating in a studio or computer-based production environment, and additionally for musicians and sound designers seeking the ultimate synthesizer. The Korg Kronos provides the absolute finest in keyboard sounds and is accurate and responsive to the player's technique. The expansive control surface offers joysticks, sliders, knobs, switches, a ribbon controller, assignable pedal inputs, and of course an improved resolution colour TouchView display. New additions include an easy-to-use Set List mode for song-specific and gig-ready sound selection, and the Smooth Sound Transition feature. I have owned this keyboard since it came out and the OASYS before that. I just want to say this is one of the best demos ever. Very talented guy. He certainly opened my eyes to a few other ways to work with the Kronos. Korg has so many possibilities
I have the 88 key version. I've had it for over a year now and every time I play it I have a big smile on my face. Great sounds, easy to use interface and the set list is vital to me for the various bands I play with. Just about the best keyboard I've ever used.....

It is, w/o question. (the best workstation) With the exception of the M3, I've owned every, Korg, flagship workstation since the M1. Korg finally got EVERYTHING right with the Kronos. No other workstation even comes close, & I don't say that with any bias towards Korg, since I also own a Kurzweil PC3K, Alesis Fusion HD, & Yamaha Motif.
nestor pascual I don't have a Korg Trinity. I have only a TR-Rack. (which lacks a sequencer) So I am not familiar w/the Trinity's sequencer.
But I believe that like the Triton, the Trinity has a floppy disk drive. Are you saving the songs to disk before you shut off the keyboard? If I record songs on my Triton & then turn the keyboard off, (w/o saving to disk) they will be erased. The Trinity is probably similar.

+gjc82071 What makes you put it above the Motif? I LOVE the Kronos... But I feel that the Motif still beats it at the acoustic piano. I love it's Sweet Flute sound too.

i was at guitar center yesterday - played one for the first time ever....bought one today. I have researched, Yamaha, Roland, Kurzweil...kept coming back to the Korg. It is the very best.

Agree..which is saying a hell of a lot, but it is. A damned heavy beast though, I must say. But in my view, is the ultimate keyboard workstation. Finally paid mine off!!
I recently bought a kurzweill pc3a6 for £750 (which i feel is a bargain to most people) but i just dont like it. I knew after a few hours it was a wate for me. Ive owned a korg triton for like 20 years and that had something like set list mode. Nothing beats that for quick playing during live performance. This is basically the evolution of the triton and im now convinced the kronos is the one. The guy

Yup, I do. Was one of the main reasons I bought one. I have a big Pink Floyd gig coming up next year. Having a wide range of killer hammonds was near the top of my priority list. This keyboard totally nails it!

I love the weighted keys on the 88. They are magnificent. A caveat to those of you thinking of buying one. Be warnee, it's a monstrously heavy beast! 70lbs.

Karma is phenomenal, both harmonically and rhythmically. It applies also
to drums in real time for myriad parameters,pattern,complexity, randomness etc etc .
This is hardly ever mentioned.
Kronos is a phenomenal real time improvising performance machine, unsurpassed even now in 2019.
That was just incredible. I've got to get me some of that Korg Karma!!! 30 years ago I fell in love with the M1... but this... this is just incredible.
Luke for Korg is what Bert Smorenburg was for Yamaha. Beast of a player and of course the legendary Kronos. What a win for Korg.

Now THAT is how you demonstrate a modern synth workstation. Take note Yamaha and Roland. This guy obviously has the skills, but instead of showing off his skills he focusses on showing what excites his audience.

nestor pascual you need to save to a file .sng, if we talk about kronos. Trinity has floppy-drive, You must to save on the floppy. Maybe I have not understood you question?
Now I wish to buy a Korg Kronos or Korg Kronos X. Ofcourse like to know your suggestion which is most important to me. And I must tell that this gentleman is the Best Synth Player to my knowledge. This is pretty much what my dream workstation consists of: everything I could have ever imagined from upgrading from my Yamaha PSR-640 (my 8th grade b-day present 15ish years ago) and Alesis keyboard purchase 5 years ago ... and all the various drums/synths/pianos I've learned in between.
Luke. What a brilliant intuitively presented demo. Fantastic. Reminded me of what I need to do. Replace the Kronos I had to reluctantly sell due to financial difficulties. Thanks Luke. I reckon the incredible demo you have provided has in turn provided Korg with many Kronos sales. hey Korg. Listen up. double this guy's salary !! Oh and b.t.w Korg - thank you very much for all the instruments you amazing people have made. from my M1, Trinity, Triton Studio 88, to the amazing Kronos X88 - One thing is for sure. When you guys produce the latest game changer, I am rest assured it will stay top of the pack for as many years as - until you unveil the next wonder of the keys world. At 47 - I am an eligible to be of an age to state this opinion, or indeed matter of fact, as far as I am concerned.
If anyone out there is as young today as I was when I switched my Roland D50 for my first Korg - M1 which indeed was so advanced in its day........then.........OMG, you young musicians have never had it so good !!!!!!!!! Really......

Guys! I've tested it last week on a big PA system : I can tell U got some big sounds with this workstation!! I use to play with Yamahas and I will but this one can easily play along Yamaha in a very good way. EPs, MS20 and Polysix sound great, some drums too, the Piano is very good too. Very good gear, I recommend it!
What a smokin' bad ass this dude is on the keys. I bought this board because of your bang up demo. It may be the best keys demo ever, certainly of the Kronos, it is. Get hold of Korg and get your commission! I have a receipt. lol.

I really love to hear your movie Soundtrack playing, it's unbelievable good....especially the Rocky Training theme at the end oft the Video ist awesome! I loved this piece oft music since a very long time already, but never heard it anywhere.... you brought it back to me, thank so much for this! Nice! I just bought the Kronos (2) version. Guy bought it a month and half ago, full price. Sold it to me for $2,100 with installed sounds and everything lol. It’s the (61) key by the way. He decided he’s going to stick with the Pa4x. Hope you enjoy yours!
