I love how relaxed and humble his whole demeanour is. A deeply intelligent and wise soul who happened to have a hell of a gift for music

Notice how humble and easy going Bll Withers was. When Dick Clark apologized for not crediting Bill for writing the song "Just the two of us" Bill brushed it off completely with a "that's ok, that's not important".
This man was a true blessing with his wonderful music and humble attitude. Love you always, Bill.

Dick Clark hit the nail on the head about how Mr. Withers music and manner has a relaxed yet philosophical feel. Loved them both. R.I.P. to three of the greats: Dick Clark, Bill Withers, and Grover Washington, Jr.

The late, great Bill Withers. He’s probably so humble because he found success much later than people in that industry and he was mature enough to handle it. He is missed...

Bill must have just performed "Just the two of us" he Looks great here. Unfortunatly record companies just determined when they feel someone isnt important to the Public anymore & get what they can from someone. Bill had & has Lot of great music to share & The companies shouldnt ignore mature artist over 40 or over 50. Were missing out on great Music with there Obsession with young artist

have you noticed how different his voice sounds when compared to interviews in the 2010s? I find how adult voices change over the years quite fascinating
